Review & Giveaway : Zippies - The coolest ID tags!

Connor is four, with four comes all sorts of new challenges but the biggest one we have been facing lately is him taking his brother's stuff and trying to pretend it was his in the first place. Today they practically drove me nutty at the barn. I gave them two water bottles which soon multiplied into six water bottles (someone ran back and got more out of the fridge) and the worst part is by the end I had no clue who's water bottle was whose.. and even worst which one was mine! Poor Dylan got the short end of the stick as pretty much any water bottle he claimed his brother came in and stole it pretty quickly and switched him out the less full one he was carrying. When I got home I realized, today would have been a great day for some Zippies.

Zippies are some of the coolest ID tags we have ever seen. First of all they are super heavy duty rubbery animal faces which won't fall apart, bend, or break on you in the first use. Most of them are pretty non gender specific and they come in a variety of different animal faces from bunnies to lizards to toads (my personal favorite) so there is bound to be one your child will like. Though all that aside that is not at all what I love about them. What I really love is their genius way that they hook on to your stuff, or should I say the several ways they can hook on to your stuff. The first and most obvious way is they come with a very heavy duty elastic cord and tightener which is great for hooking over the top of water bottles, hooking to backpacks, looping over small stuffed animals, and even attaching to your child's door knob or dresser knob so you can easily find your Zippie on the way to school. The second is a ring that is slightly under the draw string that opens up almost like a little key chain clasp which can be used for a key chain, hooking onto loops, belts, or really anything you can clip something on. The last way is you can actually take the Zippie off the ring itself and hook it onto a necklace, bracelet, or put it on your own ring, loop, or snap. Needless to say how you use your Zippies is totally up to you!

I have a Zippie on each of the boy's backpacks, and I try to remember to put them in my purse to identify our drinks as even though my boys are not reading yet they can still identify their animals to find their own drinks or even toys. You can learn more about Zippies as well as check out all the different designs on the Zippies website.

Now here comes the fun part!

Zippies has offered to give a set of five Zippies to one lucky reader!

Infantino's Annabel Karmel baby food making line is simply amazing!

Infantino's Annabel Karmel line of baby food making accessories quite started us on an adventure in baby food making that with all honesty turned our failure to thrive baby totally around and put him on track and back on the growth chart.

Several months ago Dylan got really sick, and ended up in the hospital for obsessive vomiting and no desire to eat. I the end he was diagnosed with malabsorption, failure to thrive, and he just continued to drop weight and loose muscle mass no matter what I fed him. That is until we got the line of baby food making equipment from Infantino's Annabel Karmel line. I immediately got to work making the recopies included with the products and on Annabel's website. Quickly though I added my own recopies and I've heard nothing but praise from my doctors, specialists, and physical therapists as you can honestly see the difference in Dylan almost from the first week I switched his diet.

The Infantino's Annabel Karmel line of baby food making supplies includes everything you need to get started. Though if your just looking to get started or even if your a seasoned baby food maker my two favorite items in the collection are the Freezing Trays and the Mash and Serve Bowl. So much can be done with them even if you just want to save a little money.

The Mash and Serve Bowl allows you to easily mash everything from soft fruits like avocados and bandannas (both of which require no other prep for feeding) to steamed, boiled or even fruits or veggies your making for dinner. Quite often I use mine to mash veggies that come out of our soups and stews as well as a bandanna for breakfast! The picture above is the Infantino Mash and Serve bowl with some baked sweet potatoes being mashed. They are Dylan's favorite food and so easy to make. You can microwave them then mash them as well.

The Infantino Freeze Trays are my favorite product from the collection though as they are just so useful even past making baby food. The perfectly freeze 1oz cubes which then you can easily pop out of the tray and serve or pop them out and store them in ziplock containers so you can free more in your tray! This tray was full of fresh peach baby food and peach and cereal baby food. You can easily add cereal to almost any fruit or veggie and freeze it with no problems. Actually the only foods we have had problems freezing are avocados and bandannas, though I have had luck freezing bananas if they are mixed with other fruits.

We plan on using our baby food making skills way past the infant stage as well. I have already learned I can easily add carrot baby food to spaghetti sauce without my three year old (or husband for that matter) ever knowing the difference. Cauliflower also is easy to add to things like applesauce or soups without anyone knowing any difference.

You can check out the entire line of Infantino's Annabel Karmel baby food making accessories on the Infantino website.

I'd love to share this adventure with one of my readers so I'm giving away a Mash and Serve Bowl and a Steam Release Micro Dish to get one reader started!!

Find the ultimate gift for kids at Maukilo!!

Maukilo is easily in my top five favorite online toy stores of all time. If I won the lottery I'd easily spend days browsing their catalog looking for those special toys to bring home. I wont even lie I do that now just drooling over the selection. They are especially great if you value toys who inspire creativity and will last a lifetime. Maukilo offers a huge selection of amazingly gorgeous wooden toys, knit dolls, arts and crafts, a super cool selection of ride on toys, not to mention a ton of others.

We recently received a BlaBla Basil Bunny MINI Knit Doll which was absolutely the perfect stocking stuffer for Dylan. Connor received his first BlaBla doll on his first Christmas and it's been that one special stuffed animal which no matter what his current "like" is I always find Spot curled up somewhere on Connor's bed. So soft and huggable these knit plush age well and actually get softer and softer. We've washed Connor's several times as well, though I do highly recommend you air dry them just to protect them. I can't wait to give Dylan his Basil and I love the mini size for babies as they are just the right size for infants and toddlers to hold and snuggle with.

If your looking for an affordable and long lasting toy for a child on your Christmas list any of the Haba block sets are a great investment. Our very first wooden toy, as well as one of the most beloved toys in the house, is our Haba Fantasy Blocks set.  Everyone that sees them has to touch them and explore all their different sides and textures. Even Dylan can't keep his hands off of them!! It's also the one toy I most enjoy playing with my boys, as the colors and unusual shapes makes building with them always new and exciting. When people ask me what to buy for baby showers or birthdays they are the one toy I recommend most often. They are just one of those toys your kids will enjoy at one as well as ten!

I think you will be very pleased with the selection of toys at Maukilo and the selection of drool worthy toys is fun to browse. Check them out on the Maukilo website!!

Maukilo was generous enough to give us a $25 gift certificate for one lucky winner!

Aquafina's Flavorsplash Week Six and Giveaway!

This our sixth and last week of Aquafina Flavorsplash shipments as part of the Mom Central Aquafina Flavorsplash tour and I have to say I'm pretty bummed about it. I've even developed a full fledged Aquafina FlavorSplash addiction. The final week's flavor was Peach Mango which was pretty tastey but I have to say last week's flavor, Grape, has to be hands down my favorite flavor of our six weeks of Flavorsplash.

I really love peach flavored drinks and actually one of my favorite flavored waters is a store brand peach water, however, I wasn't so sure about the mango part. Mango is not one of my favorite fruits and I've never been a huge fan of mango flavored drinks. The combination of mango and peach is really quite pleasant and I think you end up tasting more of the peach anyways. I still just can't get over the grape and I've been buying grape non stop since last week as our weekly shipment of six bottles rarely even makes it past the first day as we tend to fight over them once they get cold.

I will say if anything this tour has made me into a huge Aquafina Flavorsplash fan and though I previously always sort of snubbed my nose as spending extra money on bottled or flavored waters that is no longer the case. I've found I end up drinking three times the amount of water I usually do if I have some flavored water on hand and I even end up drinking just plain water as once I've had a bottle of flavored water it gets me going toward wanting just cold water as well. Not to mention I've been spending an exceptional amount of time at the barn lately in the blazing heat and I keep a few waters there at all times as Alabama in mid summer is ridiculously hot.

Speaking of really refreshing summer time treats. If you ever have the chance to visit Alabama in the summer if you do nothing else head to the closest farmer's market and get your hands on some fresh Chilton County peaches. I've tried fresh peaches all over the US and there is nothing that comes close to them. I personally just prefer them fresh and room temperature but on a really hot day they are really excellent served over fresh home made ice cream! Getting our last shipment of Aquafina Flavorsplash in peach mango reminded me that it's time to start making our weekly farmer's market trip to get peaches as well!

There is a $1 off a six pack of Aquafina FlavorSplash available right now as well!

Aquafina was kind enough to send us some coupons and their awesome new lip gloss in Aquafina flavors to try out as well. I'm giving away two gift packs of lip glosses and a free coupon for a six pack of Aquafina to two lucky winners this week!

Win a copy of Shrek Forever After for Xbox 360!

Thanks to Activision I have a copy of Shrek Forever After The Final Chapter for Xbox 360 to give away to one lucky winner! Shrek Forever after is available right now on pretty much all of the gaming platforms, Xbox 360, DS, Wii, PS3 and PC! Connor has had a blast playing for almost an hour at a time and he is only THREE! No reading skills are required as the helpful pigs will talk you through the instructions but parents may have to help the younger players with some of the tough challenges. Older players and adults will really enjoy the four way multiplayer option available on some of the versions and the more complex fighting combos that are possible. You can play as Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, or Puss in Boots but you will need all four to complete some of the challenges!

How to Train Your Dragon adventures from home!

We've not yet been lucky enough to see the How To Train Your Dragon movie, I debated and debated about taking Connor to the theater to see it as he's a huge fan of dragons in general but in the end decided he's still just not quite ready enough to sit still long enough to see a full movie in public. We have however been playing the How To Train your Dragon game on the 360 and Wii as of late.

Both versions of the game on the 360 and Wii are very simular other than the controllers as though you end up with a little more movements required to play the Wii version in many ways the Wii version is the simpler of the two to play especially for younger players as you can get away completing the fighting sequences by just shaking the controler and hitting buttons like mad but I'm getting ahead of myself here.

How to Train your Dragon is very simular to the pokemon type games as there are basically two aspects of play. Choosing a dragon down to customizing it the way you want and then caring for the dragon by feeding and giving him attention. This is honestly my favorite part of the game as I'm one of those crazy farming game lovers and I really enjoy the challenge of getting my dragon to full stars. You end up having to complete mini games to get all the resources you need to take care of you dragon and I would be absolutely fine with the game if this is all that was involved. As well as taking care of your dragons you can compete in tournaments to gain experience and unlock more "story" parts of the game that involve a lot of exploring.

The tournaments are fun and again remind me a lot of a pokemon type battle. Though both the Wii and 360's fight sequences are pretty much the same if you are dealing with a younger player the Wii version in many ways is the better way to go as you can really accomplish a lot with the Wii controller by just really moving the controller around like mad and pushing buttons. Not saying you wont loose a ton of matches that way, but if push comes to shove not a ton of skill is needed to accomplish the battles if you have a little patience.

Though I'm sure many people love the exploring and story line sequences of this game I really was not interested all I wanted to do was get back to caring for my dragon and battling. Maybe once I've seen the movie and understand more of the storyline my attitude will change but then again that's just my play style.

You can buy your own copy of How To Train Your Dragon on Wii, 360, PS3 or DS right now on Amazon!

I have two copies of How to Train Your Dragon to give away to my readers. A Wii and DS version.

Sick babies are no fun but at least you no longer have to worry about taking their tempature!

We've gone through dozens of thermometers over here of every type you can think of and though I've found some that are very easy to use the problem always seems to be the easier it is to use the less accurate the readings are! The Safety 1st ProGrade Complete Family Thermometer is not only super easy to use but it provides you with several options in taking everyone in the household's temperature. See our video review for a full demonstration as we just recently had a round of strep throat in the house and both boys as well as myself came down with it and ran high temperatures. I had absolutely no problems getting not only a really accurate reading on Dylan with the under arm attachment but I also later did a rectal reading to the same result. When I called into my doctor I could go back through the memory as the thermometer stores the most recent readings and could tell the nurse where I took the temperature, what the reading was, and even what time each temperature was taken. I ended up getting sick the very next day and used the mouth attachment and I love the fact that I could just as easily see the screen and what I was doing even when I was taking my own reading! Watch the video above for the full review and you can check out the Safety 1st ProGrade Complete Family Thermometer on Safety 1st website!

As well Safety 1st sent us a Hospital's Choice Healthcare Basics kit to give away. Available at Target these kits come in the cutest traveling kit you've ever seen in a really pretty pattern that is gender neutral. The kit comes with everything you need to care for a new baby or even an older preschooler. A medicine dropper, medicine spoon, nasal aspirator, nail clippers, and a digital thermometer! It would be a perfect baby shower gift or a great basic set to travel with!

Keeping hydrated and loosing weight plus an Aquafina giveaway!

I've decided that I refuses to be lazy this time around with baby number two and I WILL loose the weight I put on with baby number one! Heh. Actually I only gained 30 lbs when I was pregnant with Dylan and I've already gotten under my prebaby weight with him but the weight I put on when I was pregnant with Connor is still there and I'm not happy with it. I'm happy to report that in the last week I've lost four pounds and part of that has to do with the fact that I've started substituting water for soda whenever I can stand to do so. I'm a verified absolute soda addict, no doubt, mind you I do only drink diet sodas but regardless I'd prefer soda almost over food some days.

I was recently choosen to be one of the Aquafina FlavorSplash Moms and it couldn't have come at a better time. Its getting warm down here in Alabama and I've started riding horses again and let me tell you anyone who said that riding is not a good workout is dead wrong. I've also started taking the boys with me to the barn so its really important that we stay hydrated and seeing as we spend most evenings at the barn I just took it on myself to totally stock our barn fridge with Aquafina waters, not a soda in sight. In return I've ended up substituting more than half of my soda intake a day with Aquafina water and I have to give at least partial credit to the water substitution to my weight loss. The other half totally belongs to Monkey the little quarter horse who I've been riding several days a week, who is in FAR better shape than I am. I think thats pretty evident from the fact that usually when we are done she is barely breaking a sweat and I'm barely walking. heh. It's ok I'll catch up with her sooner than later I hope.

As part of the Aquafina FlavorSplash Mom program I'm getting six weekly shipments of Aquafina flavored water. This week's shipment was Wild Berry which is usually the flavor I buy if I'm picking one up at the store. I really have to say after the first day of my body being in total shock that I've been drinking more water than anything else I even woke up this morning and drank one of my Aquafina waters instead of a soda which is usually my version of "coffee" in the morning. I actually made it all the way till lunch till I had a soda at all today which is almost unheard of.

Celebrate Earth Day with World Girl on PBS!

Trying to explain the importance of the world around us to kids is sometimes a bit challenging. I can tell Connor all day long about recycling and why we use cloth rags instead of paper towels any chance we get and he just doesn't really listen. Even showing him videos about landfills and how they are over crowded would just get a "cool" response from him at this point as he would be more interested in the bull dozers than the trash or he'd just be excited about the huge mound of trash, he is after all a three year old boy. Though if it his cartoon friends think it's important or it's a big adventure suddenly he gets it!

WordGirl will be celebrating Earth Day with a new episode all about this very important subject and she says it pretty well, if we don't take care of the Earth there will be no place to celebrate birthdays! Even just the thought of no more birthdays would be enough to get Connor's attention especially seeing as we just had his super mega birthday party here a few days ago.

You can tune in to see the WordGirl Earth Day episode tomorrow 4/22 and check out the Word Girl website for more information as well as show times. We'll be watching here in Alabama at 3:30 pm which is usually right after Connor gets up from his nap! How could we not? It's a great opportunity for Connor to learn more about why we need to take care of our Earth in the language he can understand! As well I have to admit I totally dig the whole super hero with a massive vocabulary! To learn more about the Word Girl Earth Day special on the Scholastic site and play cool games and learn more about the show on the WordGirl website!

Scholastic and WordGirl want to make someone's Earth Day a little cooler by offering them a WordGirl Prize Pack including the new Wordgirl: Earth Day Girl DVD which includes the Earth Day episode as well as seven more and WordGirl Earth Day Girl Book! What a cool way to teach your kids more about the importance of taking care of the world around us!

If I was a baby this is the swaddler I'd want to use!

If I was only small enough to climb into Dylan's Baby Bonkie you may not get me out! The moment you put your hands on Dylan's Baby Bonkie it's not even remotely a question as to why he absolutely adores the wrap style blanket. I love the Baby Bonkie quite simply because it looks cool. Dylan's Baby Bonkie has a cool very rock star looking cotton guitar print on the outside and a lime green minky material on the inside.

Lined with a really soft luxurious minky material it's incredibly soft to the touch, so much now that it's gotten warmer I put Dylan inside his Baby Bonkie only wearing a diaper. The wrap itself at first looks like any other swaddle type wrap but until you go to put the baby inside do you notice a few diffrences. The biggest problems we have with swaddlers is Dylan will fight the wrap for a few minutes if he is really upset when you put him in. If he wiggles and gets his shoulders free the next thing that comes out are his arms and hands which only defeats the purpose and does not do anything to calm him or to keep him napping. Actually without being swaddled Dylan will NOT sleep on his back at all. So for me to successfully get him to nap sitting inclined in his baby seat during the day, which is the best way for him to nap with his acid reflux, I have to get him swaddled and KEEP him swaddled. Unfortunately I can't seem to wrap him myself in a way that he won't wiggle out of so until we got our Baby Bonkie I usually just gave up on the whole idea of having him nap sitting inclined.

Baby Bonkie TallyThe biggest diffrence between the Baby Bonkie, and the main reason I think Dylan can not get out of this swaddle wrap verses the others we've tried, is the shape of the wrap around the shoulders. The shoulder area on this swaddle wrap is tailored so when you wrap your baby inside it curves around their shoulders and keeps those little wiggling arms firmly at their sides. Dylan will wiggle a few times when I put him in but within moments he gives up and usually passes out shortly after. Parents will love it as it's a totally fool proof way to swaddle, even Daddy's can do it with very little if any instruction. Just lay the baby down, tuck feet and legs inside the pouch, tighten the sides down with velcro and your done! It's also perfect for babysitters and grandparents! I should tell you guys that the Baby Bonkie is very generously sized so one size fits most babies from newborn to five months old. There is still a ton of room for Dylan to grow into down by his feet and the velcro around the chest is very adjustable so even chunkier babies will have no problems fitting into a Baby Bonkie!

The Baby Bonkie website appears to be down but you can still purchase Baby Bonkies on Amazon as well as on many other online retailers. Baby Bonkie was kind enough to send us a Baby Bonkie Tally, which has minky on the outside and inside, to give away as well.

    What you talking about, Germs?

You know I'm the farthest thing from a germafob. With my first born though we really did attempt to make an honest effort as far as making sure his pacifiers were always spotless and his bottles disinfected between each use. Now I find myself going from the five second rule on things hitting the floor to the 30 seconds to "um.. it looks clean". Actually I belive to an extent that over shielding your children from regular old germs actually hurts them over helps them.

With all that said I do obviously disinfect all of our eating surfaces and bathroom. There is a huge difference between some dust bunnies on the floor and not properly cleaning up after cooking. Though my biggest gripe about the whole cleaning situation is most disinfectant products are way too harsh. I really hate to use them around my newborn and seeing as he is always fussy its rare that I get to put him down. So not only am I pressed for time but the products I use have to be baby safe. Seventh Generation has been one of our favorite sources for cleaning products for some time now due to the fact that they do not use harsh chemicals and still do the job as well as the ones that do!

Seventh Generation has a brand new line of disenfectant products including a disenfectant wipes, which by the way even my mom got excited about. The new disenfecant line includes an ingredient made from Thyme called thymol which kills 99% of germs and is safe to use on even children's toys and high chairs. Now that really is something to get excited about. My mom is a paper towel junkie to the point that we actually argue about how she is killing way too many trees. Seventh Generation also has a line of recycled paper towels which may not still be an excuse for my mom to go crazy but at least I feel a little better about her "paper towel habit". Seventh Generation and My Blog Spark sent us a great package that included some of the new Seventh Generation disinfectant cleaners, recycled paper towels, and a book called the The Conscious Kitchen which has great tips on how to effectively go green in your kitchen. I know it's sometimes really challenging knowing even where to start but we just started by switching our every day all purpose cleaner to a more eco friendly version and slowly have moved up from there one product and one step at a time. Now I'd say about 80% of the products we use in our home are ecofriendly. The biggest and hardest step for us was going from using paper towels to using washable rags. I only keep paper towels on hand now for covering food in the microwave and quick emergency cleanups. We even attempt to use fabric napkins now instead of paper ones when possible.

We absolutely adore Seventh Generation products and especially love the Disinfectant Multipurpose cleaner. One thing I really love about Seventh Generation products is how they seem to continue to keep things smelling great well after I've finished cleaning without leaving a chemical smell. I use the disinfectant cleaners in my diaper bins and they really seem to cut the odor left inside the trash cans really well.

Seventh Generation and My Blog Spark has given us a second gift set of products to give away to our readers! It includes a great selection of Seventh Generation products including the new disinfectant wipes, all purpose cleaner, a carrying tote and a copy of the book The Conscious Kitchen!

Make some delicious cookies and donate to a good cause!

Betty Crocker has always been a household favorite around here! Actually Connor's first baking experience was making a pack of Betty Crocker cookies. Mind you the little snot decided halfway through making the cookies he begged me to make he decided that he HAD to spend the night with my Aunt Betty and before the cookies were ever even done he had taken off to her house. Not that it matters, they were pretty yummy and I enjoyed eating them without him. This time around I'm going to make him stick it out as there is nothing better than eating chocolate chip cookies while they are still warm from the oven.

For every box of especially marked Stirring up Wishes Betty Crocker products you buy you will also be donating 10 cents to the Make A Wish foundation. Combine that with the Box Tops for Education also found on most all Betty Crocker products you can give money to two very worth wild causes! You can help a child's wish come true as well as help a school meet their goals! All the while eating delicious deserts! Simply purchase your favorite Betty Crocker® products this spring. For every specially marked package purchased, Betty Crocker will donate 10¢ to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 and a maximum donation of $500,000!

Betty Crocker and My Blog Spark have provided us with a second gift pack to give away to our readers!

Diggin with the "boys" of Bob The Builder!

Now talk about a dvd about digging machines that Connor keeps asking to watch! Bob The Builder Heavy Duty Builders was an instant hit in this household. Connor has begun calling either his toys "boys" or "girls" and his trucks are always in the boy category. It's hilarious at times as I'll ask him what he is doing while he is playing and it's not uncommon to hear him say something like "I'm digging with my boys mommy!". I've always wondered if it was shows like this that started that with him.

This dvd includes five digging in the dirt and scooping things up action! Included episodes are : Scratch's Hidden Treasure, Scrambler's Best Idea, High Tide for Lofty, Scoop the Artist, and Loft and the Monster! This is the first time on dvd that you see the newest member of the team, Scratch a new small blue digger! Connor absolutely loves him and calls him a "baby digger". This dvd also includes some improved CGI in the episodes which makes the episodes much more "crisp" sort of like the difference between the older Thomas the Train and the newer CGI Thomas episodes.

Bob The Builder Heavy Duty Builders is available right now and you can pick up your copy on DVD at Amazon!

We have a copy of Bob The Builder Heavy Duty Builders to give away to one very lucky winner!

Disclosure: We received a copy of Bob The Builder Heavy Duty Diggers to do this review. My opinions and comments on items we review are always my own and are never influenced by sponsors.

You'd think Connor had been working a digger today.

We spent the afternoon at the barn with our horse Zoomie. Yep with BOTH boys. Connor had the best time digging in the dirt, running around, and for the most part getting filthy head to toe. When I asked him what he was doing he very matter of fact told me "I'm a diggin bulldozer Mommy!". I'm not sure what it is about boys, bulldozers, and dirt but the combination is pretty much magical.

You know honestly you'd think that forty minutes of watching every sort of John Deere digging machine you can think of from excavators to backhoes digging in the dirt would be boring, but to my three year old its a magical experience. John Deere Earth Mover Action is a  40 minute dvd deticated to just that! Not to mention there is a whole segment on this dvd where the kids actually get to pretend they are the operator. Connor likes to pretend while sitting inside of a plastic bin. That bin has been everything from a pirate ship to now a "digger" and its always fun to see how his imagination takes off with him. We also just love the sing along included by James Coffey!  The only problem is that you see quite a few John Deere toys in John Deere Earth Mover Action and Connor asks me about a thousand times if he could "have that". Overall it's a great dvd for all those construction vehicle crazy little boys out there!

John Deere Earth Mover Action is available right now on dvd and you can pick up your copy on Amazon!

I have one copy of John Deere Earth Mover Action to give away to my readers!

A good night's rest for me and for Dylan.

I was pretty lucky with Connor, he didn't need anything special to go to sleep and he would sleep for hours without even budging. Dylan on the other hand, though he sleep well at night, is not the best daytime napper and sometimes he is a little stubborn actually getting to sleep. I had heard wonderful things about the Halo SleepSack when I was pregant with Connor but always sort of overlooked them as Connor favored being swaddled and I thought that using the sleep sack while swaddling Connor was a bit overkill.

Halo has a new sleep sack on the market that combines the best of both worlds. The Halo SleepSack Swaddle combines the wearable blanket feature that Halo is so well known for with the abillity to swaddle your baby which almost every infant I have ever met absolutely loves. The Halo SleepSack Swaddle works just like the regular SleepSack except it has an extra flap of material that velcros onto the back of the SleepSack that can be wrapped around the baby's arms like a standard swaddle blanket or under the arms if your baby prefers as well. If you wish to remove the swaddle attachment you can just pull it off at the velcro point on the back! The ability to remove the swaddle blanket off the SleepSack also gives the SleepSack vrs other one piece swaddlers a longer life span as you can use it well after your baby needs the extra security of a swaddler.

You can learn more about and purchase your own Halo SleepSack or Halo SleepSack Swaddle on the Halo website!

I have an extra Halo SleepSack Swaddle to give away in a size newborn (6 to 12lbs).
