Please show me the jazz hands!

This review was supposed to air during our holiday reviews but due to a very unfortunate accident, Elmo actually got ran over by our UPS man's truck, it had to be rescheduled for Valentine's Day. Not that it matters no matter how you look at it I can confidently say that Elmo Live is hands down the most impressive toy in its price range. It's no secret that I LOVE robotic toys but for the most part most of the truly impressive robotic toys cost hundreds of dollars and most people just cannot afford anything like that. Sure there are some great interactive toys on the market some that read stories, some that dance, some that sing songs, and sure who can forget Tickle Me Elmo who laughs hysterically when you tickle him?

Elmo Live is the most interactive Elmo created thus far. I first saw Elmo Live in a demo video from the NY Toy Fair last February. From the moment I laid eyes on him I knew he would be something unlike any other toy of the year and though to be 100% honest with you guys I am not the biggest Elmo fan ever, I'm much more of a Cookie Monster sort of girl, this Elmo has had my full attention. Elmo Live is everything I hoped for and so much more. I was sure by Christmas everyone and their mother would be standing in line and fighting over them at every store much like the first year Tickle Me Elmo was born. Though I did see them sold out all over the city I never saw the massive craze I expected. Possibly its the down economy but really I just don't think people really saw Elmo Live as if they did they would have lost their minds.

Elmo Live is the first Elmo, not to mention the first toy in its price range that I have seen, that is not only fully interactive but its features still just blow me away. This Elmo dances, sings, giggles, tells stories, responds to touch, responds to motion, and of course just makes you laugh no matter how old or young you are. Tickle Elmo's tummy and he will dance or tell you a story, grab his nose and he will sneeze and ask for you to return his nose, he blows kisses, and asks for hugs, and most importantly the one thing we love the most he will challenge you to a dance off.

Most importantly the most impressive feature of Elmo Live is his price. At $60 Elmo Live does as much if not more than toys double or triple the price so whats the catch? Nothing.. Elmo Live lives up to everything I had hoped for. If your looking for an excellent Valentine's Day gift for a toddler or preschooler in your life I couldn't recommend it higher!

My son got one of these for Christmas and we adore our Elmo dear! He is so funny, interactive, and sweet. I find his repertoire to be pretty complex; just when you have him figured out, he changes a punchline. My son has played with him without tiring every day since Christmas Eve.

Kelsie loves her Elmo Live but Mommy here is disappointed, it was made out to do alot more than he really does. And I've heard the same story about the giant way too many times!
