I only wish my real job would be anything like this..

I admit I don't watch a ton of TV what little time I do spend with my TV is usually spent late at night while I'm doing reviews or watching Connor's daytime programs, so its rare for me to really get into a sitcom, though I'm not sure if its my college major or just how amazingly goofy this series is but I am addicted to Scrubs.

Most medical shows are so serious and I'll be honest with you my life is stressful enough at times that the last thing I need is someone stressing me out on TV especially when it comes to the fact that I am majoring in nursing I really do not want to watch anything that is going to get me thinking about the main thing in my life that stresses me out more than anything else. Scrubs is not anything like those other medical shows. Its light hearted, hilarious, and really goofy at times. Though there are some serious moments and sure there are some really sad moments when they loose patients but for the most part the series focuses on really making fun of the situations we get ourselves into as people not necessarily as doctors or nurses.

The most recent season, the seventh season, aired for the most part on my nights at school so I ended up missing a good majority of the episodes. Though it was a short season with the writers strike alot happens to JD and his friends at Sacred Heart. JD's baby is born, Turk ends up with an embarassing and perminate health condition, and there is even a medieval fantasy episode which I totally missed when it first aired so I was estatic to be able to see it... actually I missed pretty much all the really great episodes in the season so it was awesome to see them all and get ready for the new season!

If you have never seen Scrubs I really highly recommend it, there is just really something hillarious about seeing doctors who many of us put on this unrealistic pedistel as people, people with their own problems and even more so making fun of it.

Scrubs, The Complete Seventh Season is available right now and you can pick up your copy on Amazon!

I have two copies of Scrubs, The Complete Seventh Season to give away to my readers!

I'm not much of a tv watcher and have never seen Scrubs, but my granddaughter (in college) is a big fan. She and her friends enjoy hanging out in the dorm and watching series shows in their spare time. So I'd love to be able to send this to her.

I love Scrubs, it is hard to decide which is my favorite. There is the one where JD and Turk keep moving the stuffed dog around, and the one where they have the toilet on the roof of the hospital. You can always get a good laugh from the program.

I think my favorite episode would be the one where JD daydreams that the hospital is some sort of sitcom with the live audience and all that. The show has a great balance of humor and heart and it's not afraid to show that things aren't always happy at Sacred Heart. Thanks for such a great giveaway!

When Brendon Fraser comes back after 2 years away. You laugh your ass through the entire show, because he's so endearing, cute, and funny, and when he dies at the end, you cry your eyes out. It's so well done. That's what I love about it. It's a riot, yet can be very moving.

I watch this show everyday. I am not sure which is my favorite episode as they all make me laugh. but i would have to say the one turk puts blue handprints on the wall so that the janitor has to clean them up. He accidently puts his hand exactly on the handprint so the janitor knows his hand his the exact same size as the print and he did it.

Leane said...

I don't know if I can pick just one episode, but my favorite part of the show is when JD has the monologue of what is in his head. The extra 'personal' thoughts that they add in certainly are my favorite part of the humor. So funny and such a great giveaway!
