Boxtops for education!

I think everyone knows about Box Tops for Education by now, those little stamp looking symbols on many of your favorite products including Huggies, Pillsbury products, Pillsbury, Hefty, and a ton of cereals including my favorite of all time Lucky Charms, yum. Before you recycle those boxes just rip off the little stamps, save, and give to any school of your choice. I think we all know the drill by now, though for those of you that are not doing it regardless of if you have a child in school or not.. shame shame. If you had any idea how close school budgets were these days you'd reconsider those few seconds it takes to save those tiny pieces of cardboard and plastic.

Well now for those of you that make purchases online, you can give to your favorite school even easier! Box Tops for Education now hosts a marketplace which you can sign up for on their website. Basically all you have to do is register, choose your school, and then shop! The marketplace offers cash to your favorite schools based on the stores you shop at. Here locally I can give 2.5% of all my purchases at Target, one of my all time favorites, 2% of my purchases at Old Navy, and you can even buy Zoobooks and give 20% of your purchase!!! How incredibly cool is that? Best of all it costs you NOTHING, nothing, zilch, zip, nada. You shop as you always would online and the school of your choosing gets money, super simple. The only thing I do diffrent is instead of going to for say Target.com first I just log into my Box Tops for Education marketplace account and click on Target and then shop. It only takes a few seconds and I'm positive the elementary school down the street appreciates it a ton!

Once you've shopped your donations are sent right to the school you choose, you can log into your Box Tops for Education account and see how much money has been donated through your purchases. With 400+ merchants available on the marketplace your bound to find some that you use often and I can't help to think of how much I would have donated by now if I would have known about them sooner.

Check out the Box Tops for Education website for more information and start saving those stamps. Believe me your area schools could really use them. If you don't have a child in school consider saving them and giving them to schools in districts that may be struggling. Those stamps may just be the difference between new equipment for the school's gym, new computers, or even new textbooks!

I agree....there are also a few chances for you to win your school of choice some boxtops.

http://www.boxtops4education.com/promotions/GrowUpStrong/ <---for 1000 Box Tops

http://www.boxtops4education.com/promotions/tacos/ <---1st prize: 5,000 Bonus Box Tops and
free tacos for a year
2nd prize: 1,000 Bonus Box Tops and
free tacos for a year
3rd prize: Free tacos for a year

It only takes me about 10 seconds tops a day to do those things, which can be entered daily by the way. It costs you nothing, so I figure might as well hope to give your school of choice a large windfall.

We are religiously saving these for our school. It needs all the help it can get. Also, if the kids bring 10 in at a time, they get a "tiger stripe" and can use it for movie day and stuff like that.
