Diego is fun, dinosaurs are awesome, Diego + dinosaurs.. well thats one rockin combo.
In Go Diego Go : Great Dinosaur Rescue Diego, Dora, and Alicia find out about a baby dinosaur that get separated from its parents and decide they must help. The problem is how on earth are they going to go back in time to rescue the baby dinosaur Malasuara! Well with a little help from the viewers and I think the producers overactive imagination they pull it off and help get Malasura get back to her family. This particular episode is pretty action packed and Diego asks the audience (aka the kids) to help Diego and the bunch get over many of the obstacles they find by standing up and jumping around, and stomping of course. Needless to say its not a before bed type of show. heh.
Along with the Great Dinosaur Rescue, this Diego DVD includes two other episodes including : Diego Saves the Baby Humpback Whale and Rescue of the Red-Eyed Tree Frogs. Though both of them are fun episodes its hard to live up to the Dinosaur Rescue one even just from the amount of physical activity it asks of the preschoolers watching.
If you have never seen Diego, he is basically the boy version of Dora and the episodes are fairly simular. Diego is fairly interactive with his audience asking the children watching to move, help identify objects, and of course there are elements of Spanish language which is a great introduction to the language.
Go Diego Go : Great Dinosaur Rescue is a special edition meaning there are extra special features on this disc including a really cool "Hanging" with the dinosaurs music video.

I think its cool because we like dinosaurs in this house.
Well, its fun for me becuase the kids learn and may get lost for a bit while I get something done. Anything that is clean and doesn't promote violence is perfect for the kids, as I have alot of neighborhood visitors in my house and hate to promote shows that are violent or inapprioriate

It is cool that preschoolers are invited to interact with the story.
Diego tells them to to "Stand up!" and stretch.
It is nice that it teaches children to respect animals.

The coolest thing about this video is that they are focusing on dinosaurs! I rarely see any cartoons on dinosaurs anymore.
I like that it's set in the time of the dinosaurs. My four year old son is into dinosaurs right now. The other day he told me he wants to be a dinosaur when he grows up! :) So I'm sure this would be a hit.
I think any dinosaur adventure is great.

Diego is a wonderful show that has actually helped my son learn some great things about animals. This movie is even more exciting because it has dinosaurs in it which are always exciting for kids to learn about, it's double the adventure!

This probably sounds mean but I'm just being truthful. The cool thing is how the kids get mesmerized with the show and I can get a little down time.
