DVD Review : Thomas & Friends Misty Island Rescue!

Thomas and Friends Misty Island Rescue is a full length Thomas & Friends movie!! Featuring all your favorite trains such as Thomas as well as Bash, Dash, and Ferdinand! Sir Topham announces that they are to build a new search and rescue center on Sondor and they need the rare Jobi wood to build the center. Of course Thomas thinks he should be the one to carry the wood but Diesel it upon himself to try to do it all alone. Diesel ends up getting himself stuck, dropping the Jobi wood into the sea and almost almost falls himself! Thomas rescues him just in time and Sir Thopham rewards Thomas with a trip to the mainland to get more Jobi wood!

Thomas ends up getting lost at sea and drifts onto a strange and unusual island named Misty Island where he meets a very unusual group of trains! Bash, Dash, and Ferdinand used to work on the mainland but they were sent to Misty Island to work on logging as they were just too strange or too hyper to work with the other trains on the mainland. The little trio of engines are the perfect group and at first Thomas isn't so sure about them. He learns however that the island has Jobi wood that he needs to complete the Search and Rescue Center back on Sondor Island so he works with his new friends and together they come up with a plan to get Thomas rescued as well as get him the wood he needs!

As well as the full length movie on this dvd also included is a pretty cool "The Search For Thomas" dvd game and a Thomas and Sir Topham karaoke music video as well! All in all you have a little bit over an hour of Thomas and Friends entertainment! Misty Island rescue comes in standard dvd format as well as a two disc bluray combo pack that includes a copy of the bluray as well as a standard copy which I highly recommend!
