Connor's new favorite word!

Connor’s new favorite word is bubble. He cries bubble at bath time, when he sees anything that even remotely resembles a container of bubbles including body wash, and to my surprise today he said “Please, Bubble” when he saw the case for our new playtime cd Robbert Bobbert and the Bubble Machine. I was a little taken back as how could he know? Then I realized that the case was folded inside out so the adorable drawing of Robbert and his bubble machine was exposed. Lets just pretend that the real reason is because my son is absolutely genius and he has learned to read the world bubble for my own sake.

Robbert’s music is as fun as the name suggests. It sounds very fast paced, light, with a sort of rock sound that reminds me a bit of a modern sock hop. No matter how you feel about children’s music you can’t help yourself to joining your preschoolers in a dance or at worst case at least bobbing your head alone. It makes me a bit jealous as its obvious that Robbert really enjoys what he does, Connor does too. Heh.

Connor’s favorite song on the cd is the most unusual as it has no words just a series of sounds and boom booms, hence its name. It’s hilarious watching him attempt to dance to it. Personally I love the We R Super Heroes song as I always call Connor my little superhero boy. It’s fun to sing with a catchy melody, don’t tell anyone but I added it to my own mp3 player tonight and I’ll make a bet if I played it for my friends who don’t read my blog they would haven no clue it came off a children’s cd.

We are superheroes! Oh and the cd comes with its own little miniature comic book as well too, don’t forget to check it out.
