Phineas and Ferb are back!!

I'm freezing my booty off right now but it's summer break right now for some of our favorite brothers Phineas and Ferb. They are back in a all new dvd, Phineas and Freb The Daze of Summer, that includes five episodes that will leave you wishing it was summer right now for you too!

Remember all those hair brain ideas you had over summer break when you were a kid? I once found a huge block of styrafoam like you would use under an older dock and along with some neighboorhood friends decided we were going to carve out a boat from the foam and go cruizing down our creek into the lake. Well we did get a sort of makeshift boat carved out but every time one of us got on it it flipped over. So much for our big plans.Phineas, Ferb, and their super cool pet platypus have so much better luck with their adventures.

My favorite episode on the dvd was Toy To The World, Phineas and Ferb are so fed up with the fact that their toys do everything, I knew these boys were after my heart. Anyways they decide that the perfect toy is just a plain ole wooden platpus styled after their own pet. Heh, these boys may just have the right idea. All the while their real pet platypus who is also strangely enough a secret agent is battling the evil Dr. Doodlenshmirtz. What a name.

;If your looking for something a little out of the ordinary and tons of fun pick up your own copy of Phineas and Ferb The Daze of Summer on dvd right now. You can buy your copy on Amazon!

I have three copies of Phineas and Ferb The Daze of Summer to give away to our readers.

We enjoy gardening. We go to the store and pick out the plants, get the ground ready, plant them and usually my husband and son do most of the watering! We have a small garden spot, but just sitting out by the garden and watering the plants can be very mediating. This year I would like to plant our seeds indoors, instead of buying plants. A few years back we planted pumpkins and the pumpkins took over the whole garden. They were in the corn and the tomatoes..ahhaa. We enjoyed watching them grow. We gave all our neighbors a pumpkin or two. You know, when I was growing up, my friends and I stayed outside and cried when it was time to come inside before dark. I think getting children involved with outside activities is GREAT! Thanks for the chance! My son loves Phineas and Ferb.

One July when I was about ten years old (the age my daughter is now, scarily enough)I convinced my eight year old cousin that we needed to run away. We packed up all the essentials (Saltines, two Cabbage Patch kids, a Connect Four game, and dental floss) and took off down the street. We stayed gone for the better part of the day, convinced that our parents were frantic with worry. By about four that afternoon, thirst got the better of us (we packed crackers but no drinks!) so we headed home. Much to our dismay, no one had even noticed us missing! Our parents figured we were in the backyard the whole time. They weren't far off though. We were only about six houses down. :)

Our family LOVES LOVES LOVES Phineas & Ferb and we have seen every episode! My very favorite is the Backyard Beach Party episode (where Ferb does this excellent reggae song in the middle!) and my favorite episode on this DVD is IT'S A MUD, MUD, MUD, MUD, MUD WORLD, where Candice practices for her driving test in the monster truck arena the boys build! They're great! My summer plans were never anything as fabulous as theirs - I was mostly a geek girl who read all summer. Although sometimes we put together dance recitals with our next door neighbors and we played school...oh, and there was that time that I built a rocket to the moon and an atom bomb...but that's a different story all together...I didn't get busted...

One of the subway lines that run through my city ends at the whimsically-named train stop "Wonderland." Last summer, I finally made good on a promise to my nieces and nephews to dress up in full Alice in Wonderland gear and haul out to the end of the line for a "guerilla" tea party on the train platform. We got a lot of laughs. We also got a stern talking to by Transit Authority personnel.
