Oscar is in my living room in several pieces!!

Heh.. Ok it's not what you think, I didn't send Connor out to off Oscar but he certainly is in my living room and he IS in at least six pieces.

The new K'Nex Kids Sesame St sets allow kids to build and play with their favorite Sesame St characters. The problem is trying to choose which character is the best one!! I've always loved Oscar the Grouch but with that said I have an emotional connection to Cookie Monster so picking a set to play with was tough. Oscar ended up winning out as his storage container is also his "can" and I couldn't resist the extra prop.

K'Nex Kids Sesame St sets come self contained in their own storage jar and have a little over a dozen parts so little ones won't be overwhelmed by the building process. Connor is just now 17 months old and he can for the most part put most of the pieces together by himself though he has not quite mastered the art of "making" Oscar. Either way he absolutely loves getting the set out and the included storage "can" is a great way to teach him to clean up his toys too as he can easily carry it to retrieve all of the parts he has scattered around the living room, dining room, and kitchen. With a limited amount of pieces it really does help the cleanup process as well as I've quickly found that more blocks does not necessarily mean better it just means more cleanup time. heh.

Heh. I just never knew Oscar's legs were so long. Good think he can hide those chicken legs in his trash can!
