Ever wanted your very own owl?

I've always had a thing for handmade plush animals and the little owls I found over on Etsy are just fabulous.The Needlings over at Esty has some of the most awesome vintage retro looking plush animals. The Needlings themselves are a whole world of unique little plush creatures who each have their own little story. They all look a little different, some resemble bunnies, aliens, people, bears, and even kitties. Every Needlings is unique as they are all hand made so you won't find any two that are exactly alike.The Needlings as awesome as they are, are not the thing that originally attracted me to her etsy shop! Owl Mama's are an entire line of owl shaped pillows, that look like something out of a child's dream. They are absolutely perfect to use as a throw pillow on your couch or as a companion for your little one. There are no plastic parts so they are safe for little ones though seeing as they are felt I wouldn't recommend them for very small babies only because I don't usually recommend that you do anything other than spot clean felt toys. Felt is very durable but it can get fragile if wet and its just not worth the risk. Connor's Owl Mama sits in his little chair as part decoration, part plush friend. He loves to sit her while he reads his books and there is just something comforting about her big eyes, it almost appears she is watching over you.
