Who would ever have thought 11 seasons!

I remember that first season of South Park like it was yesterday. It was almost mesmerizing as it was truly a landmark series as it pushed all the boundaries previously set by an animated series. I'm sorry anyone who doesn't find Cartman at least slightly amusing is way too uptight. Though I'd be the first to admit that I have had nightmares that my own son Connor grows up to be like Cartman, could you only imagine?!

You'd think after 11 seasons that Trey and Matt would run out of shocking things to say or would just run out of episodes all together, but they seem to be endless when it comes to making episodes that push our boundaries. From Guitar Hero, Head Lice, and global warming Trey and Matt seem to be always finding ways to poke fun of current culture and somehow still find ways to mix in a little bit of the current headlines at the same time.

There are fourteen episodes included in this season and honestly its been a few seasons since I last saw South Park and I was not disappointed. My favorite from the series was the Zombie movie spoof Night of the Living Homeless. It crudely makes fun of the fact that if you give a homeless man a dollar he will want more... but it painfully reminds us of how many homeless we really have in America, regardless of what you think of South Park it does leave you thinking.

I think "The List" is probably my favorite from season 11. It reminds me of when I was much younger and we all made these goofy lists in grade school. My all time favorite episode from all seasons is "The Succubus". If you have never watched South Park because you have a negative opinion about it give it a try. It really is a fantastic commentary on society. I just wish people would quit letting their little kids watch it - just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean it's for kids.

I've also blogged about the giveaway here:

My hubby and I are slightly addicted to this show. My favorite episode is the one where Cartman thinks he died from heating fried chicken skins.

I've actually seen very few episodes of this show, but I do remember the episode with Mr. Hanky and how much my family and I laughed while watching it. To this very day, whenever one of us says Mr. Hanky we all bust up laughing until our stomachs hurt. Hey, anything that brings laughter into our lives is a great idea which is why I'd love to have this season of Southpark.

Thanks so much!

I love how South Park appeals to so many different people because you get that often nasty humor, but they always are touching on something much deeper at the same time. They have a biting social commentary.

I have to say my favorite episode is the one where Cartman dresses up as a robot and calls himself AWESOME-O, to play a trick on Butters...but it doesn't play out the way he wants lol

I'd like the eleventh season for my husband, he's a die hard fan. In fact, when my hubby and I were first dating, I bought him a big (foul-mouthed) Cartman doll for Christmas and he loved it!Now we have to keep that doll away from my daughter because she keeps pressing his hand and hearing all the not-so-nice-talk coming out of his mouth!

I have to admit that I'm a big South Park fan. It is totally twisted and sick but makes me laugh each and every time. My all time favorite was with Satan and Sadam Hussein. I'm looking forward to the new one to see what new sick humor they've come up with. So much has happened in real life since the last season and I'm sure the writers had many subjects to pick from.
