Teen Titans is done? NooOOOo!

For those of you that are not familuar with the WB cartoon Teen Titans basically to sum it up its the Teen Titans are a group of teenage super heroes that you may or may not have heard of.. kind of the misfits of the super hero world.. the one you most likely have heard of is Robin, Batman's sidekick.

I've always had a soft spot for the show as well for those of you that I have not totally admitted my ultimate geekyness to, here it is, my very first business venture was a comic book and gaming store. Yes you heard me right.. I owned a comic book store at the ripe old age of 19. Growing up I was never the popular girl though I was always that "weird girl everyone knew and sorta liked" heh. Needless to say I have a soft spot for comics and an even softer spot for misfits. GO Teen Titans! Woo.

Ok now that I have that out of my system I have to say I'm a bit sad The Complete Fifth Season DVD marks the end of the Teen Titans legacy. Though it may not have been the most popular WB cartoon in history its one of my favorite comic based cartoons especially for the younger crowd as the story lines are light and the animations are lively.. I hate to compare it but its always reminded me a bit animation wise of Pokemon.

Even if your new to Teen Titans you will be pleased with the collection. With 13 episodes its more than enough to keep the kids occupied for some time and for those of you who are already into Teen Titans I think you will find that the last season is a great addition as it really goes more into the characters and their background than the previous seasons. In the final season the Teen Titans square off with The Brotherhood of Evil in one last epic global war. Who knew but Beast Boy ends up being the go to guy to bring in the victory!

Teen Titans : The Complete Fifth Season is available on DVD right now on Amazon!

You can see more about Teen Titans as well as the rest of WB's children's DVDs at their website.
