Book Review : Friday My Radio Flyer Flew

by Zachary Pullen

I honestly can't imagine childhood without the trusted companionship of a good wagon.

A boy and is father find an old radio flyer wagon in the attic and thats when all the adventures start. This little boy has some big dreams, including wanting to fly, and maybe.. just maybe that old radio flyer will be just the thing he needs to get his feet off the ground!

Beautifully illustrated,
Friday My Radio Flyer Flew leaves you really wondering just want is possible if you truely believe you can! For the parents out there you can't help to smile, and Friday My Radio Flyer Flew really drives home the idea that small things make the biggest impression on your child. Nothing is more precious and more fun to watch than a child so full of adventure and so sure that there is a rainbow just around the corner, lets try to keep them that way as long as we can!

Friday My Radio Flyer Flew is available on Amazon and in most major book retailers.

I have a ARC Copy of
Friday My Radio Flyer Flew available to give away to one lucky reader.

Oh, how fun!! My son dreams to be the best BMX star and skater! Mind you, he's 8. He's built a ramp to jump his bike from...and in his mind, he's doing the most incredible tricks ever. It's so fun to watch! Plus the ramp that he built is pretty darn cute! If you can dream it, you can do it!

When I was a kid, you could not have convinced me that fairies were not real. I was even sure that they danced in my room at night.

My girls are like the previous poster's, they are absolutely convinved they are princesses. I can hear them in the other room right now discussing their crowns.

Hi, I love children's books! The cover of this one is really cute.
It kind of reminds me of the holiday movie "A Christmas Story!" The Red Ryder BB Gun was the end all! I like that the dad and son are exploring the attic together. They work together and the boy's imagination goes to work. I knew that I would become a "Broadway Star!" I also would have a "Flea Circus" for all of the younger kids in my neighborhood! We played "school" so much, I just knew I would become a teacher. Thanks,Cindi

When I was little, I always said that I wanted to be a nurse. It's funny, after my dad left, my mom ended up going to Nursing School to support us. There is no way that I could have become a nurse become I am so squimish when it comes to blood, needles, you name it.

I dreamed that I was secretly a princess or part of the royal family. But oddly enough, I was not a super girly girl - I wanted to be a police officer for a long time when I was little. I also believed in leprechauns and following the rainbow to the pot of gold! Ah, we wish. lol. But I love the 'dreaming big' idea and the wonderful world of imagination. This book looks fantastic. Thanks!! laurachilton {at} hotmail {dot} com

Looks like a fun book...I didn't really have big dreams as a kid--lived mostly in the moment I think. Except when I had my nose buried in a book! At times I wanted to be like one of my favorite mystery book characters and have lots of adventures instead leading an everyday ordinary life like I was...
