I had dreams when I was pregnant with Connor about having a nursery full of wonderful knit and "homemade" type whimsical stuffed animals all over the place. When I got around to buying everything I looked all over in the department stores to find something even remotely close, with no luck. I ended up getting a few regular stuffed animals and the effect was never what I was after.
When I first came across BlaBla Kids I was browsing through one of the online boutiques and I ended up stopping at this beautiful little black knit dog, who wound up being our now beloved Licorice. I knew even though we already had seven dogs in the house (real ones) it was really important we make room for one more!
My only regret is that we can't adopt them all... just look at these monkeys..
I mean who wouldn't want to bring one of these monkeys home!! Personally I am a huge fan of the green monkey in shorts, Verdi!
BlaBla Kids were founded by two best friends who met while attending Georgia Tech (Ladies after my own heart.. as I always dreamed of attending Georgia Tech!! lucky lucky girls!!). On a trip to Peru they found a village who made great had knitted finger puppets, and soon after they convinced them to make the very first items that would eventually make up the BlaBla Kids line!!
From Peru to your living room you certainly can pick out a BlaBlah item out of a crowd, the bright colors, great little details, and their super hug able nature makes them ideal for newborns to adults. Their knit animals leaves you with a bit of a sock monkey feeling without harming the socks!

BlaBla Kids sent us over an Dalmation Hat to give away to one lucky winner. Its a size medium and is pretty stretchy, so it should fit most children between 18m and 4 yrs old.

Those are too adorable, I liked the garden dolls, but since my husband loves all things monkey and my daughter seems to prefer her monkey toys as well, I'd say the Mini-Mozart or Mini-Lolli would be our favorites!

I really like the Little Monkey's Tee. If I won the hat I'd either keep it in hopes a future baby would be a boy, see if it looked good on Amelia, or I'd give it to one of the several mom's I know that are going to have babies in June. Probably the last! Cute stuff.
Okay, I know I've told you that we're a cat family, but Jasper would look sooooo cute in the dalmatian hat! Oh, wait, the panda and the orange kitty hat are super cute, too. Rats. Roo has a Bla Bla hat I bought when she was an infant and she's still wearing it at 4. It doesn't look like they make the style anymore, though.
The finger puppets are probably the best way to get all the Bla Bla characters you covet at once... So adorable.

I am loving the "Catch Me if you Can" mobile. J never really had a mobile, unless you count the one on the pack n' play, but I'd love to just hang this in his room anyway, even though he's way past the mobile stage. I think he'd like it.

I love the veggie and fruit rattle set! Great to use as rattles when the kiddos are little, then again can be used when playing 'shop'. The dolls, mobiles, hats, booties, boogaloos... they are all really great! And we would definitely keep the hat. Too cute.

I love Bla Bla Kids. Someone gave me a Hat and Bootie set at my baby shower for my daughter but when it was season for it, it did not fit her. I was so bummed out because there stuff is so adorable and great quality.
Having a hard time deciding what I would get. But here are some of my favs...
Coral, Lulu and Bubbles are so adorable and the backpacks are too much. I think I wouldgo for either the frog or the dalmation backback.
As for the hat. I would share with someone else. Spread the love so to speak. Pick someone I know and just suprise them.
