Carrier Review : Lillébaby Eurotote + GIVEAWAY

Its a carrier, its a mosses basket, its a stroller blanket, its a bunting bag, its a travel bed, and its totally adjustable for babies from newborn to toddlers! The real question is.. what can this carrier NOT do?!

Its snowing back in IL... and I keep thinking to myself why didn't I have one of these when we were still up there and Connor was still new. I would have carried him EVERYWHERE in this carrier, oh man I can only dream of all the shopping I would have done!! This would have been so wonderful as I could have just gone to the mall and walked around and when we stopped to try on clothes or eat he could nap happily in his little moses basket all snug and strapped in... instead I tried to torture myself by carrying that insanely heavy car carrier around and I'm quite positive my back will never be the same. I guess its a good thing that my cousin is a Chiropractor! (It does have a backboard so your babies precious neck and back are fully protected while using it as a carrier and/or bed.

If its awesome carrier and basket abilities is not enough with a few little adjustments it becomes the perfect bunting bag perfect for those cold days in the car seat or stroller. You don't even need to remove the child from the carrier to put them directly into the car seat (seriously!)! Then from the car seat you can go directly to the stroller with no problems!

Along with its stroller and car seat abilities the Eurotote just keeps on making itself useful. It makes a great travel blanket when fully unfolded and the mesh bag inside holds the baby in for a great travel bed too!! I'm fairly sure with this carrier you could easily eliminate four or five baby gadgets for those moms like myself who are space challenged. I would have defently gone without a travel system all together and just went with a convertible car seat, and forgot about a moses basket and my stroller blanket. This one carrier does all the jobs those other products do but it takes up a third of the space or less!

The Eurotote does come with two covers so you can use it in the winter or summer.. a super super soft flannel and microfiber as well as a mesh top for in the summer. You may use it as a cradle carrier until the baby reaches 20lbs (though Connor at 9m is under that weight limit he didn't like to be that tied down... however when he was under 5m old he LOVED to be wrapped tightly so he would have happily spent all day in this carrier). Once your baby outgrows the carrier function you can still use the bunting bag and play mat features well into your child's third year (or in Connor's case since he is soo short.. most likely well into his 4th year!).. seriously enough I'm freezing cold right now and I would really like one in my size so I could strap myself in and stop shivering! The Eurotote does come in brown, black, green, and red! (I personally love the brown it has an adorable baby blue liner... yum!)

You can purchase the Eurotote from Amazon or out of my Amazon Store!

Want one for yourself? I have TWO.. yes TWO Eurototes to give away to two lucky readers!

Well, my son is two years old and we are expecting another baby from Korea thorugh adoption- although I cant tell you the age- as we just dont know at this point- For my son, definitely in the stroller- for the new one- sounds like it would be a great travel accompaniement to Korea- as a bed in our hotel- carrier in the airport on the way home, and also in the stroller, and car seat as well. As we may travel in the winter, I'd love to keep the new little one warm and cozy! My favorite is the green! jbubolz-miller@hotmail.com

My baby is 9 months old! I love that it works on a stroller, too!

I love the brown Eurotote, too. Jasper is six months and almost too big for the cradle carrier function but I think we would use it a lot as travel bedding and a stroller bunting.

That thing is SWEET! My daughter is 16 months and I know I'd use the "stroller bag" feature since we go running 3-4 times a week and it's often very chilly outside. And I can imagine that all of the other features would come in handy when we eventually get pregnant with #2.

heather h said...

My little one is 15 months old. We would use the stroller blanket feature the most. I have a jogging stroller and try to work blankets around her little legs. She usually just kicks them off in a heartbeat. Makes going out in the wind or cold pretty tough because I know how cold she'll get. This is a nice giveaway!!

Unknown said...

The baby is -6 months old...does that count?

The feature I like best is that it supports their neck and back, but still allows them to be comfortable and feel calm while looking up.

Thanks for the chance to win!

My little guy is 15 months but I would actually want to win this for my friend that is expecting her 6th. I'm sure she would love it for the support it gives for the neck and head as well as use it as a stroller blanket.

How ingenious! I have a three month old baby that would be toasty warm if she were bundled up in this inside the stroller. It would also be great for when we are at a friend's or relatives home and don't want to bring the big pack&play. She could nestle in and have sweet dreams. Thanks for entering me!

I'd use the stroller feature the most for my 1 1/2 year old son right now...but I am expecting again so, with my newborn I'd probably use the 2 options of having baby laying on it on the floor the most. I also blogged about your contest here:

Wow. I'm a little speechless. This thing seems pretty incredible.
I have a 3 month old and a 2 year old. I love the idea of using it as a traveling bed. So much easier than a pack n play when out at a friend's house.

What a great site you have here. I just started clicking around and I realized you have great reviews and items (like this). I really need this - My son LOVES the outside and it is so cold now. What a great product!

Becky said...

I have two friends that are due soon so I would love to give this to them. I like that this can make a travel bed, better than a pack and play.

Becca said...

My daughter is 10 months old. We'd use this for winter walks in the stroller, and in the car seat on really cold days.

kevnjacks said...

This is such a neat invention! For my 19 m.o., I can use it as a stroller blanket and for baby #3, we love the fact that you can use it as a carrier and then put the baby in the carseat without having to remove the baby from the carrier! How ingenious is that!?

Qtpies7 said...

Wow! Two of them? They are really neat. I loved having a moses basket, but it wasn't all that great for carrying around, but this one is nice with the shoulder straps. I love that it works in the stroller and for so many sizes.
I loved living in Europe, they had the best baby stuff!

Sherry G said...

I currently have an 11 month old and am pregnant with a baby boy, due june 25th. Serendipitiously, I was *just* searching out moses baskets on the net. The obvious feature of the Eurotote that attracts me is the portability. I am going to need a good contraption to carry my baby from room to room while running after a toddler. Thanks for the great contest!

Anonymous said...

My son is due May 4th and this is my first child. I think my favorite part is the versatility. With all the things necessary to keep a baby happy it would be awesome to have one item that accomplished so many of them. And it's good looking on top of it all!

Skippin' Rope said...

Hey,
My baby is 3 and half months old. I would love to win this because it would be perfect up here in rainy, windy, cold Washington. The Eurotote would be such a perfect addition to the routine my baby and I have. It would make transitioning from the car seat to home to anywhere a snap! I love that it fits in with any 3 or 5 point harness carseats. Plus with how much it rains here, the water repellent cover would be great.

I know it would make give me such a peace of mine to know that my baby is nice and cozy warm at all times.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I love this product--how cool! I have a 6-month-old and two-year-old so I would use it both in the stroller and in the carrier. I'd love this ASAP with all the snow we've been getting!

Where do you guys find such cool things?? I love multi functional baby to toddlerhood and beyond products. My 1 year old has just outgrown her infantseat. The cool thing about the eurotote is that I can transfer my baby from carseat to home without too much fuss if she falls alseep in the car. I also like the water repellent feature. Great for those misty days when I have to take her jogging.

My baby is 15 months! I really like that it is compatible with everything, from carseats to strollers. And I love that it grows with the child. I hate buying a lot of products for babies because they outgrow them soooo fast. This would definitely last for a few years.

Milk Mama said...

Oh I absolutely love this product! If I don't win, then I guess I'll have to buy one! :D
I love that it can be made into different things (Money Saver and Space Saver!) I think I'll use mine most as a "moses basket" and as a "Stroller Blanket" as we live in the chilly, rainy, snowy Northwest!

What an innovative product! I have never seen anything like it. The two features we would use the most are using it with the car seat and then using it as a travel playmat/bed. I would like to win this as a gift for my good friend who is about to have a baby. Having a tiny baby in the middle of the harsh new Jersey winter makes it hard to keep warm. This would help her out immensely with transporting her new daughter in the cold, and she'd LOVE it!

Anonymous said...

Since my daughter now is 3 and is way too tall to be carried around or in a stroller, I'd love this for the next baby thats coming this August. I love the fact that its big enough to grow with them. My hub is 6'6" so our daughter is tall and Im sure this next one will be long too! Im always on the lookout for things that would be a good fit for our kids. Please enter me!!

What a great product. My baby is 3 months old, and I love the fact that you can put them directly into the car seat in the Eurotote. Thank you very much for this review! I noticed this product about a month ago and have been goggling for a review from someone who has actually used the product. You are the first I found and now your website is locked into my favorites! My husband and I travel often and spend countless hours searching for quality products that are compact, multi-functional and great looking. As our child is due in July and we live in the North, we already have been drawn to the many benefits of the tote. We will use it for the first few months as a moses carrier, then as the cold weather moves in will look forward to using this to keep our child warm in and out of the car.

We have started to purchase other products from Svan (related company to Lillebaby and have been very pleased with the chair and bouncer thus far). Baby cannot wait to come out and use these great products!

Plus no more trying to find a safe place for him to sleep at grandparents houses!

This would be for a newborn who is coming in the next 2 months! I must admit I like all of the features but the one that got me most excited is that "you don't even need to remove the child from the carrier to put them directly into the car seat (seriously!)! Then from the car seat you can go directly to the stroller with no problems!" That is insanely awesome. I cringe when my friend has to wake her baby up to move him from stroller to seat and vice versa. This will be such a lifesaver. :-)

I would plan on giving it to my best friend who just had her first baby by C-section after MANY years of trying. She's a little neurotic and also in a lot of pain still. I think in the cold months, she would love to be able to take the baby out of the car seat and into her apartment. Car seats are HEAVY to carry.

Taryn said...

We're trying for #2 now. I like that you can use up through the toddler years. So it would work for my 19 mo. old too!

Lisa said...

my little girl is 7 months and being able to use this in the car seat would be such a blessing as we wouldn't have to hassle with trying to force the straps over the winter coat (it gets cold here in the Colorado mountains) and could still keep her cozy.

Where was this when I needed it three years ago (oh wait I was a first time mommy and had no clue LOL)With a baby girl due in a few months and a three year boy I'm going to have my hands full. As side from the space saving, this would make it much easier to get her out and about with all the activities we do as a family.

My little guy is 2 but we are ACTIVELY trying for No. 2 and if it doesn't happen soon, we are going toward adoption - this would be great! My favorite function is the adaptability of the product!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the brown Eurotote, this is such a unique idea and so functional, they sure have come a long way since my day, but I have a brand new grandson born 1/10/08 and he could sure benefit from such a useful product, thanks for introducing this to us and good luck to everyone

ohhhhhhhh -- this is a totally cool idea. My baby is 7 months, and I like that it can go from shoulder to stroller, all the while, keeping the baby bundled and warm. Thanks for a great giveaway. Hopefully I'm the lucky winner!!! :)

LOVE IT!! It would get the most use in our house as a stroller blanket and also as travel bedding for my 10 month old daughter since we have travel to visit family a lot. Thanks!

My Baby is 5 months old and I would use the stroller and carseat feature..what a neat product!

I would love to win this for two reasons. I have a 3 week old premature grandson and another grand baby on the way. This looks like it would be so ideal for one of these babies and I would want it to give to their mother. I know my one daughter could never afford something like this and it would be very special.

my baby is due april 20 2008, the stroller blanket would be wonderful

Brian said...

We're due May 5. This looks like it would be very useful in the car seat and the stroller.

Romie said...

My little one loves to fall asleep in the car seat, so this would make it so much easier to move her. Plus we are working on baby #2 so would love to have this for all it's uses when the next one arrives.

Robin said...

I think that this is genius!

My little baby is three months old, and the moses basket feature appeals to me the most. I hate carrying around the car seat, and she doesn't really like being worn.

gjgille said...

My baby is 2 months ols, so the mosed feature would suit us the best!

Sassyfrazz said...

That is really cool! I really am digging the Eurotote! I would definitely use it in the stroller most! It looks so handy to carry my baby around in (and so warm)! My daughter is almost 11 months. But, we are not done yet...

i would love to win this!!!
my daughters will have a blast with it!!

My daughter's baby isn't here yet but she's already stressing over how she'll get a stroller up and down the stairs at the metro station (no escalators available, can you believe it??) So the Eurotote would be perfect right off the bat with the Moses basket function.

This would be so great for my new granddaughter due May this year. Please enter me to win.

What an interesting idea! I have a three month old daughter and I would definately try out all the uses and see what works best for us. It especially looks great for the carseat! I LOVE the Cocoa couture!

pancak said...

I am entering this for my cousin, expecting her first in May. I most like the flat support for the wee ones. The fact that you can move them from carseat to store and more without unwrapping or waking them is probably the best feature.

My babe is almost 6 months. Luckily he is still under the weight limit for the moses basket/carrier function. Also, he always love a soft play area. The 'luck of the stylish' green that they offer is exquisite!!
what a great, versatile new baby accessory!
Thanks for the great giveaway. Keepin' my fingers crossed!

My son is two and I love the stroller blanket feature for him. I have a baby due at the end of summer so I will be using the carrier too.

I would REALLY love to win one of these Eurototes! I've had my eye on them for a while now! :) My Cousin's baby girl is 3 mos old and I would really love to win one of these fab Eurototes! They're sooo multi-functional--I love it! Love the feature: 'Goes Anywhere'!! Here's my entry for the extra entries: http://doreens-scrap-wonderland.blogspot.com/2008/02/eurototes.html .

I am due in March and this product would eliminate a lot of extra things that I really don't need (car seat cover, play pad, stroller bundler, etc.). I'd probably use it in the carseat and stroller the most, and I love that the baby gets really familiar with it since it can be used in many ways.
Thanks for the giveaway!

My wife & I are due in early March, and this product would help in so many ways. That said, I like the stroller the best!

Wow. This is a brilliant idea. I love the fact that you can carry the baby around without waking her up. My little girl is almost six months old now.

I would give this to my cousins. They are due in April which in MI can be cold still but then will be going back to Africa. They travel quite a bit as missionaries in Africa and I know they would use it as a carrier, bunting bag and travel bedding.

I want to give this to my youngest sister who is about to have her first baby. this carrier would be great for her.

My son is 4 months old and I would probably use the travel bed the most. It would mean he would always have a cozy place to nap where ever we were. A little piece of home.

My sister is due in May. The travel bed feature is great!

..getting a baby in May........I, too, like the travel bed feature.
It reminds me a little of the boards on which Native American mothers strapped their infants when I worked at the Indian Hospital.

My grandson is 6mos old. This sure would be handy! ty!! 4 the contest!!

Keeping my baby cozy is most important to me as I am in Indiana and it is cold. My baby is 15 months.

I have an almost two year old and baby #2 is due March 20th. With our first baby, we could never get him to sleep in a pack and play when we were at someone else's house. I think the Eurotote would be far more snuggly for a little baby and might make trips to visit family a little easier when he arrives!

My daughter just turned 1 in December. The Winter/Warming top would help so much in keeping her warm in the Winter Wonderland that we call home.

carissaad said...

I would like to win this for my friend who will be having her second child soon. She lives in Minnesota, so this would be nice to keep her baby Warm and Cozy in a car seat or a stroller during the winter

I would love to own this product! I grew up in the Southwest and but my husband the Northeast where we live now. I struggle with the cold weather and could use any help to keep my baby warm. I am due in July and with this product have a one stop solution from the car seat to the home, I espeically like the feature that allows to remove a spring/summer top and replace with a warm winter top. I would be so happy to use this product!

My wife and I are expecting our first child in May and we live in the city where space is a luxury that we cannot afford. As we search for baby products, our number one goal is to find products that are compact and multi-functional just like the Eurotote. I also found a great review on YouTube praising this product. I really would love to get this product for our child, we can see ourselves using it from birth to stroller age. The fact that we could keep our child warm from house to car and the convert to a basket for sleeping etc. is great! Pleaes consider us for this contest, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks

My grand-daughter is almost 4 months old and this would be a wonderful baby bunting for her...although all the features would meet her needs right now. And the brown/blue would go wonderfully with her stroller.

I like that it can be used for a couple of years - from infant to toddler. I'd win this for my best friend - she has an almost-2 year old and a baby due in the beginning of march. Thanks so much!

My baby is 7 months old and we are in MN. I love that i could use this in place of his wintersuit to keep him warm. He hates to get in it.

2 years old. The feature I like the best is the shoulder harness to carry it on one side. I had back surgery and this looks like it would make it easier. I love the color red too.
