If wizards could be fashionable it would be Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place. What I wouldn't do to have hair like that not to mention to be half as attractive. Gomez is back in an all new Wizards of Waverly Place dvd called Supernaturally Stylin', appropriately.
Wizards of Waverly place is sort of the magical equivalent to a school sitcom. Though the plot line is about boys, academic problems, popularity, the standard school age fair, the twist is the main characters Alex, Justin and Max just happen to be magically inclined and wizards in training. Possibly this is all spawned by the magical popularity as of late but regardless its a cool twist. The latest dvd features four episodes from the popular disney tv show.
My favorite episode on the DVD was Graphic Novel. Alex has been keeping a journal but this is no journal like you've ever seen. What looks like a book full of drawings is actually a magic journal where Alex can transport in and out and create her own little fantasy world full of all her secrets not to mention her crush on Dean. Its all good until her brothers find the journal and accidentally trap Alex's least favorite person Gigi inside the journal. How will they get Gigi out without her realizing that Alex and her brothers have magic powers not to mention hide Alex's secrets.

However my favorite character of Madagascar is Gloria the Hippo - so confident and commanding. Love her.
Re: Wizards - I like all three of the Russo children - they appear so normal - fighting, bickering, etc like all siblings do. Then the fun begins with the magic.

Alex is my favorite because he is played by Ben Stiller and I love Ben Stiller. If you meant Waverly's favorite character, my daughter tells me Alex is her favorite so I'll go with that. She says we should like Alex because she's funny.

I like Selena Gomez's character in Wizards. However, her dad has a lot of great comedy set up scenes in the show also! As for Madagascar, we like the Penquins at our house. Have you seen that they are getting their own Cartoon series?

My ten-year old and I adore this show! I like it because it's clever and witty and wholesome. It's one of the few tween shows that I watch with her willingly! I guess I'll go with the obvious and say Alex is my favorite character. She's hilarious. I really like the comedic timing of the older brother Justin too.

I have to admit, I am confused by the directions too, but Alex is my favorite character from Madagascar as well. Ben Stiller is a terrific actor and he really brings Alex to life as a character. Thank you for the fun give-away.
