Dogs in space!!!

If you are a fan of the dogs of Air Bud you should be on the edge of your seats for the new Space Buddies release. Rosebud, Buddha, Butterball and the rest of the Buddies are back and this time they are headed to space. Along the way they meet the new "buddy" Spudnick an absolutely adorable bull terrier which may just be my favorite buddy yet.

Just like Air Bud these dogs can talk and just like Air Bud the "buddies" can't help to win you over as even though I'm a Chihuahua girl myself I'd be the first to admit that golden retriever puppies are by far the cutest ever. Air Bud was a HUGE hit around here and Space Buddies has caught the attention of my young friends the same way. It seems kid can't get enough of these dogs. Though I can't say the plot is the thickest I've ever seen there is something addictive about the carefree and fun loving puppies. Its sort of like watching puppy bowl during the super bowl.. you just can't help yourself.

We watched Space Buddies in bluray and I'm pretty positive you can count the hairs on each puppies head in the high definition resolution of bluray. The real gem about bluray children's movies is the extras. There is an awesome bloopers reel that will keep you laughing. A Buddies guide to space travel which may just get the little ones a bit more interested in space. My favorite was the Buddy Finder which was sort of a puzzle where you have to find the dogs on the screen. It reminded me a bit of those puzzles I used to do on the back of the children's magazines I loved as a kid.

Space Buddies is available right now on DVD and you can pick up your copy on Amazon.

I have a really cool gift package to give away to one lucky reader! A set of Space Buddies plush how cool is that?
