Something yummy for your holiday parties.

I'm terrible at holiday parties. I have no idea what to make and sure I can make a killer turkey and even some great gravy and mash potatoes but where I fall short is I have no clue and I do mean NO clue where to even begin when it comes to appetizers. My family on the other hand makes a holiday spread that looks like something out of a magazine. It's almost shameful how much food shows up at our holiday feasts and I on the other hand is always stuck bringing the tea... (premade bottled tea) which I'm fairly sure means they don't actually trust me to cook anything. heh. So needless to say when I heard about the Ocean Spray and Heinz Ultimate Party Meatballs I knew I had to check it out because I seriously need a little help in the appetizer department and seeing as Connor's birthday will be rolling around faster than I would like (ok in April but still that's faster than I would like) I need something to make at his party.

The recipe for the all famous Ultimate Party Meatballs is pretty simple :

  • 1 16oz can Oceanspray Jellied Crandberry Sauce
  • 1 12oz can Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 1 2lb bag frozen precooked cocktail sized meatballs
There is directions to cook them in a saucepan but personally I find that using the slow cooker is just easier as you can then transport them in your slow cooker as well if needed. Go ahead and put the meatballs, chili sauce, and cranberry sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for four hours. That's it.. your done.. seriously.. that's it!

I couldn't be more excited about this recipe it couldn't be simpler and its so yummy when done. The meatballs are also kid friendly so its a good recipe to make for birthday party as well as a holiday party!

Actually with that said The Ultimate Party Meatballs website has a ton of super super easy recipes that use Heinz and Oceanspray products to make simple delicious meals from appetizers to main dishes for the whole family. Once I'm feeling better this week I think I'm going to make the Slow Cooker Sweet and Smokey Barbecue Pulled Pork. We absolutely love barbecue around here and its usually pretty cheap to make as it will feed us for several days. BBQ also freezes very well so leftovers can be saved for a week or two later as well!

A big thanks to Mom Central for letting us know about the awesome Ultimate Party Meatballs, you better bet I'm bringing them to the next holiday get together. While your over at the Ultimate Party Meatballs website make sure you enter the sweepstakes as well you can win $3000 or a slow cooker!
