Its almost Christmas!!

Can you believe that its almost Christmas?! How did this happen? I hope everyone has their shopping done and everyone gets what they wanted for Christmas. In the meantime I have some great giveaways to offer you guys. Call it a little Christmas magic.

Is it wrong that I up to doing this review I had never heard of much less seen anything from Cheetah Girls. Call it my lack of girlie stuff as I'm far out numbered around here with boys and boy stuff. The Cheetah girls however like most teenage girls are totally interested in boys so maybe we would get along.

Cheetah Girls - One World is filmed in India which is a bit unusual. The girls are working hard to make it in the music business and attempting to balance boys and friendship. You know honestly I don't think I'm the best person to do this review. Though I did surprisingly to me love the High School Musical movie Cheetah girls are all girl and I've just never been that sort of girlie girl with tons of girlfriends sort of girl, nor did I ever get into girl band growing up. Cheetah Girls on the other hand is all about the art of the girl band, flashy dance routines, music, and lots of Bollywood glamor. Bollywood is basically India's version of Hollywood and at times it can be over the top, its full of musical extras, and dancing. Sort of like the musicals that were very popular in black and white films but bring them to modern times and add more sparkle.

With all that said just the mention of the Cheetah Girls sent my young friends into fits of glee and watching them attempt the dance moves throughout the movie was absolutely hilarious and good fun if you ask me. I guess if I ever am lucky enough to have a little girl of my own I'm going to have to catch up on girlie stuff! Don't get me wrong its not that I disliked the movie but it was clearly written for a tween girl audience and its all about music video routines, what boy do you like, and clothes. Heh, perfect for every little girl I know.

However I can really appreciate one aspect of Cheetah Girls One World, we got the pleasure to see it on bluray as the sound quality was amazing. The bright colors of India seems to almost glow on the bluray screen. Its really quite pretty and it certainly makes me want to visit myself. For the girls the extras are pretty cool too, a trivia game much like those that appear in the Disney DVD games. Possibly they will make a DVD game to go along with this one with more dance routines later!

In the meantime you can pick up your own copy of Cheetah Girls - One World at Amazon.

It's the holiday and I'm proud to say I have three copies of Cheetah Girls - One World to give away to three lucky readers.
