Tiny Toons.. thats never getting out of my head.

It used to be a tradition, come home.. watch Tiny Toons. The one thing I forgot about the series is just how catchy their theme song is.. so much so that just thinking of them sends me into a whirlwind of humming. If you forgot it, feel free to get it stuck in your head too and watch it on youtube.

I was never a Loony Toon fan, but Tiny Toons occupied many of my teenage afternoons its fun, its fast paced, and its really kid friendly! Though sometimes the characters fight you wont see the typical violence you see in way too many cartoons these days. Even my beloved Transformers have epic battles.. the worst you see in Tiny Toons is the occasional over sized mallet to the head.

Connor is still a bit too young to appreciate Tiny Toons to its fullest but I think he enjoys the theme song as much as I do, as I played it several times while I was getting ready to do this review and he cried every time I turned it off. lol. Its catchy.. even if your only one.

There is one small thing you might notice, this is Tiny Toon Adventures Season 1 Volume 1. You may ask yourself how is that possible to be volume one of season one and still include four discs. Well Tiny Toons season one was in total 65 episodes which on average is about three times larger than any of the other seasons. This particular volume has episodes 1-35 so there should be a volume two out in the near future.

Here is the official description :

They’re tiny, they’re toony, they’re all a little loony! Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Tiny Toon Adventures is a Daytime Emmy® Award animated series that spawned a whole new generation of madcap Looney Toons characters including Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, among others. The characters reside in Acme Acres and are enrolled at Acme Looniversity, where they are schooled under the wise (guy) guidance of veteran toon legends such as Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd and others in hopes of graduating with a "Diploma of Lunacy." The series originally premiered in 1990 and aired for three seasons.

Tiny Toon Adventures Season 1 Volume 1 is available on DVD from Amazon!

I used to know that song word for word too...and I think the other one I knew was Anamaniacs...also a favorite sing-along.
