Need some summer vacation ideas?

I have to admit.. I am not the best one to ask for vacation advice when it comes to kids. Ive been all over the US and I can tell you some great adult places to go.. but when it comes to kid friendly adventures I am at a loss.

Its quite alright though, TripFlix is a new DVD that actually helps you plan your family friendly vacation. You get 25 destinations to choose from.. most of which are a bit off the beaten path.

Ever visited Rock City? I think I made a mention of it earlier on my blog. Well at one point all over the south there were these great barns painted with "Visit Rock City" all over them. Its nearly impossible to find one these days.. but Rock City is still there. TripFlix will tell you a bit more about Rock City and whats fun about it as well!

If your visiting Alabama please stop by one of my favorite places. Space Camp is a must see, and if your lucky enough its the best summer camp there is. I always wanted to go but its not cheap and it just never happened when I was a kid. You better bet Connor will be going if he wants even if I have to start saving now. Even for the non campers you can do a tour of the facility and if your lucky you can see some of the astronauts training!

How about Metropolis? Yes.. seriously.. there is a Metropolis!! How cool is that? Honestly I have no idea how I missed it as I just recently moved down here from Illinois and I am quite positive we have driven past it several times. I guess there is a Superman museum and the paper is even named the Daily Globe!! I am so stopping next time we are on the way to Connor's grandparents house. That is too stinkin cool.

There are lots of great destinations to choose from, most of which I'd venture to guess may just be under your nose and you may have not even heard of them! Thanks to Team Mom for letting us know about it!

TripFlix is available on their website and Amazon!

I have a copy of TripFlix to give away to one lucky reader!

Tripflix is pretty cool, I hope to see more locations in the future but what interests my family the most is the trip to Augusta, GA to see the Greenjackets Baseball team, plus while we were there we'd visit my family who actually all live in Georgia, LOL

Fort Clatsop sounds cool! My husband likes Lewis and Clark for some reason, so I bet he would get a kick out of showing my son around there.
Jojo loves Superman so he might prefer Metropolis....
These are a cool idea! They should come visit me in Asia and I will help them make programs about Asian cities.

My computer just timed out when I tried to leave a comment. I chose Fort Clatsop because we have never been to Oregon and my husband loves Lewis and Clark.

PS. I went to the Space Camp in Florida and I sure hope the one in Alabama is better. I didn't like it at all. The whole family went and apart from a few things, we all couldn't wait to leave.

When the popcorn was gone we lay side by side, her against the back of the couch, me in front with my back against her stomach. Her arm was draped over me. We were laughing at one particular scene in the movie at which time I turned my head back to face her and she kissed me.

She pulled me closer to her and that’s when her hand began to do a little roaming. By now I could feel myself getting warm, wet and rather needy. The movie was ending but we weren’t paying much attention anymore. We were both still fully dressed. Her in long pants, me in shorts. Her leg slipped over mine and she pulled me yet even closer with her leg and arms that were wrapped around me. At about 5’ 4” and maybe 120 pounds, she’s stronger than she looks. But I wasn’t nervous or worried she’d be rough with little ole 105-pound me who’s 3” shorter. Instead I was worried about doing the wrong thing or not doing something I should be doing. I’ve never been with anyone before! I’ve kissed and gotten touch-feely with both guys and gals, yes, but nothing serious. If oral sex is supposed to be considered “light sex,” then you could say I only had only “feather-light” experience! (I later told this to Courtney and she was practically rolling around on the floor with laughter at the terms I used to describe my lack of experience)

I turned to face her as the credits rolled and we were in total lip-loc. It was an awesome feeling! I’ve kissed, but never like that before!
