Be the talk of the town at the next birthday party!

Connor is a balloon nut, actually walking past a display of prefilled helium balloons at a store is the same as waving a steak in front of a hungry dog as far as Connor is concerned. Give that boy a balloon and he is as happy as punch for hours, or days, pretty much as long as the balloon lasts. Have you actually bought a helium balloon lately? Seriously, I don't even remotely remember them being quite so expensive. You can end up paying anywhere from $2 to $20 for some of the fancier balloons.. per balloon!! I had considered buying a balloon or two for each of the kids at Connor's birthday party, but it was going to end up costing more than the birthday party itself just for basic balloons.

I'm not sure how many times I walked past the Balloon Time kits when I was making my birthday party plans for Connor. I'm honestly not even sure why I never bought one. I guess I figured it might be hard to use, or hard to store, and there is always that question of what to do with the tank once your done. Boy was I wrong!

As for the question on if Balloon Time Kits are hard to use, the answer is a unanimous NO! A child could do it, and its so simple in fact I would keep it out of the reach of your kids as you may just come home to all the balloons blown up before they should have been. Basically you just tear the tab around the outside of the box and flip the top down, once thats done you not only have a work area in the inside of the lid but it exposes the top of the tank. You can then thread the balloons onto the spout of the tank, turn the knob at the top of the tank, and press down on the spout to fill. The balloons included with the kit are far better than average balloons you can buy as they have exceptionally long necks which fit nicely on the spout and are easy to tie once your balloon is filled. You don't want to fumble around with the balloon and let your precious helium escape!

Everything you could possibly need is included, ribbon, balloons (foil and/or regular depending on which kit you choose), anchor clips, and of course the tank. When you are done using the kit you can just fold back the lid and store it in a closet or and save it for next time. You do not need to use all the helium at once. We actually use our kit now to attach a balloon to each birthday present we give at parties. Its a neat touch, plus its a gift all in itself.

I did the math on the kits... with kit prices ranging from about $22-$29 here locally thats bring the prices per balloon to about .89c for latex balloons and 1.50 on foil balloons on average if you buy the kits that include the balloons, you can also buy a helium tank by itself and use your own balloons as well and depending on the balloons you choose you may get the price down a little less but overall its far cheaper than buying balloons at a party store and having them filled. Its also kind of neat to know that you can just pull out your tank and do your own balloons anytime you choose.

Visit Balloon Time's website to learn more about their kits or to use their store locater to find them locally. I've seen them at most party stores, sams clubs, and many of the major retailers here in town. While your over there check out their Put A Face On Fun contest and enter your child for a chance to win $1,500!

Combo Latex and Foil Kit because my little boy loves "baallooos" and the foil ones last longer. Love the balloon time makes baalloos more affordable since we pretty much have one in the house at all times.

I've got a lot of birthday coming up in August (3 of our children, a sil and two brothers not to mention our anniversary). This would be fun to have.

I like that The kit's flip-top package houses the helium tank during use and provides a handy tray to store balloons and other decorations during inflation.

I blogged you here: http://laurawilliamsmusings.blogspot.com/2008/07/monday-edition-of-contests-galore_28.html

I have seen these before myself and just never thought they would be the best choice. But I just might be wrong. I really think my boys would like the make a face kit. I just might have to look into this for our next birthday party.

I like the A La Carte Large Tank Kit because then I can pick out my own at the dollar store. It's a great product because it means one less stop for me on party day and I won't have to tote around balloons in my car.

Thanks

Megan

Hi, I would like to try the 30 balloon helium kit. It would be fun to have a treasure hunt. I would divide kids into teams with their own set of balloons. There would be clues inside the balloons. Thanks, Cindi

My daughter turns 4 in September. We always let the kids go to the party store and pick a few balloons to have at their party. This kit would make it so she could have a lot of balloons. Since we're planning her party at home this year, something fun like Create a Face would give us some for preparing ahead of time as well as an activity to do during the party!

I love the 50 helium balloon kit since I cannot blow up a balloon to save my life. But, it's all worth it just to hear my little man say "boon!"

My fave would be a balloon kit (either size) with the create a face sticker kit. My kids love to make faces on balloons and this would be so fun for them. Thanks for the chance to win the combo kit - it would be nice to have the ability to do your own balloons without the floral shop cost! =)

50 Latex Balloon Kit, 'cause the more baloons the merrier!

Love the Combo Latex and Foil kit because it allows you to make a couple really great "balloon bouquets" before you have to buy refills. I love balloon time products because it gives you a way to avoid paying $5 a balloon at the grocery store (or more!) and our little school has also used them as fund raisers at the school carnival (you can spend your tickets on a balloon).
