Batman Gotham Knight is rockin.

Ok the first thing I want to mention before I even get into this review Batman Gotham Knight even though its animated is rated PG-13 and it may not be suitable for younger children. It does contain animated violence though I would consider it mild.. but for the most part its just written more for adults than children.

Produced by some of the best of the best when it comes to animation and production. This Batman Gotham Knight is a chapter in the Batman saga that is a must see if you are a previous Batman fan. Personally Batman is my favorite of all the super heroes, he after all does not actually have super powers his power is determination, intelligence, the sometimes just down right anger, he's always been the most realistic of all of the super heroes as far as I'm concerned.

Though this DVD boasts six episodes, I would be more compelled to call it a mini series or even a broken down movie as though you can watch them separately they most certainly build on each other. The story line will keep you wanting more as you watch Batman go from the one you know and love to his darker version the Dark Knight. For those of you that are anxious to see the live action Dark Knight movie its a great transitional movie and the dark almost creepy animations certainly get you in the mood. The Dark Knight is still my favorite comic book series only running a close second to the Sandman series (why oh why have they not made a Sandman movie?!) though be warned The Dark Knight is not your crime fighting all is good Batman that you remember growing up. He blurs the line between good and evil and is a much angrier rendition of Batman.
