Ok, I don't watch a lot of TV and what little I do watch is usually Connor related. What we do watch is our DVD collection so I tend to be a bit slow catching on to new TV shows. So when I got the new Wonder Pets DVD, Save the Nursery Rhyme!, I was anxious to see what the Wonder Pets were all about. Within the first three minutes of watching Wonder Pets : Save the Nursery Rhyme I knew Wonder Pets were going to be some of our new friends... Linny the guinea pig is beyond words, too cute!
Basically the Wonder Pets are classroom pets who after the children have gone home become mini super heroes and help all the animals in trouble. In this episode the Wonder Pets have to help save the nursery rhymes and are off to mother goose land to save some very special pets in trouble.
Included in this DVD is :
- Help the Cow Jump Over the Moon - Save The Itsy Bitsy Spider
- Save the Griffin - Save the Rooster
- Save the Little Red Riding Hood - Save the Turtle
- Save the Panda - Save the Mouse
- Also a super special Wonder Pets music video!!

My daughter absolutely loved the Wonderpets when it first came out. Linny was her favorite and we ended up with a guinea pig due to that. lol! I always thought that the way Ming-Ming talked was too cute. Anyway, we've (sadly) moved on from Wonderpet, but my nieces now adore them. :)
Our favorite Nick program is Blues Clues, we also think WonderPets is very cute, my son loves the Turtle!

My favorite Nick program was Double Dare! I loved it! We don't have cable now, so I don't know what's on. My son would enjoy this and we would enjoy not hearing a bunch of wracket, too!

And we love the Wonder Pets - my older girls always pretend to be them when they get together with one particular friend of theirs. Abby is always Ming-Ming, Hannah is always Linny, and Emma is always Tuck. They go around singing the song and 'saving' all of their stuffed animals. It's just way too cute.

My son loves Sponge Bob Square Pants! We literally watch it all the time haha.
My kids are Dora and Diego fans. They do like the Wonderpets song though and enjoy the adventures.
We love WonderPets around here! :-) My son sings his own version of the song depending on what he and his sister are doing at the moment... "Wonder Kids, Wonder Kids... " well, I won't put you through all of it. ;-) They also like Dora and Diego, but Wonderpets and WordWorld (PBS) are tops right now.
Linny is of course the favorite... I prefer Tuck to Linny for behavior reasons, although Linny's lisp is cute enough and she does learn.

Our favorite Nickelodeon program is "Dora the Explorer." My daughter is pretty indifferent to television most of the time, but for some reason whenever she hears that theme song, she wanders over to the tv and watches the show. I speak Spanish with her in the mornings, so I think that could be part of the attraction, wanting to hear more Spanish words, but otherwise I'm at a loss to explain what so transfixes her about that show!

Lol we're a little out of touch with what's actually on TV too. Our favorites here are Blue's Clues (Steve only, no Joe), the Backyardigans (sp?) and Rubadubbers which isn't even on the air anymore!
Well we love save the riffin here and I am sure that my little one would love cow jums over the moon, he loves save the cow! Gotta love that Ming Ming with her lisp!

We LOVE WonderPets, especially Ming-Ming!! One night, when my husband was watching my 3yo daughter and 2yo son he gave them a bath. Well, Wyatt accidentally did a poo in the tub. gross, I know. Anyway, Wyatt was upset for doing it, my husband raced frantically to get the kids out and decide how to get the "floaty" out of the tub... in the midst of this chaos my daughter sings, "This is sew-ious!" Ha!! My husband said they all laughed so hard and could find the whole ordeal at least somewhat funny. Now, THAT story is going in the scrapbook. :)
