Sheryl Crow is being featured on Soundcheck!

You know I was just thinking about Sheryl Crow today and the ecofriendly baby shower she had! I was stuck in biology lab today and they were hammering global warming and its affects on the enviorment and though I whole heartily agree with them its been a bit of a stressful day and all I could think of was all the diapers we have used thus far. LOL Needless to say I need a break, but not till Thursday as I still have three more tests before this week is over to deal with. Woohoo. Enough about all of that though..

If your anything like me you do not even remotely have the time to even consider going to a concert and have a hard enough time keeping up with your favorite music. (If I hear the wheels on the bus one more time I may just scream.) Tonight when the kids/baby is in bed and you need a few minutes to unwind I really highly recommend you go and check out Soundcheck, a new spotlight on some fabulous artists presented by Degree. You can watch some great up close and personal performances (all filmed in HD!) that might at least somewhat give you the feeling of seeing them in person. Hey, its the closest thing I can even pretend like I am going to get to seeing a artist play live in at least a few more years!

This month they are featuring Sheryl Crow and there are some great performances from the past few months live as well including my favorites thus far the Matchbox Twenty and Chris Cornell performances. Actually the Chris Cornell (yum!!) performance is playing in my background right now and I can actually turn it up as Connor is spending the night with his Grandpa!

To make it even better I have a pretty awesome gift pack to give away one lucky reader will go home with a prize pack including the new Sheryl Crow Live Set DVD, some swanky iTunes Downloads and Unilever products (its a surprise!). Pretty neato eh?

The performance with Matchbox Twenty is my favorite. Matchbox Twenty is my alltime favorite band and having Cheryl Crow open is a great lineup. Better than most of MB20's previous opening acts. I can't wait till June 21st to see them in concert in my town.

I am super excited about Sarah Barrailles. I think she has such great potential and I can't wait to see what other great hits, besides Love Song, that she has under her sleeve. I am also a long time fan of Sheryl Crow. Everything she does is great and I'm always so excited when something new comes out!

Lenny Kravitz will be a great show! I have never seen him live in concert, but he definitely has charisma and a powerful performance persona.

I am a huge fan of Ms. Crow and have been for years. I really liked her performance of Every Day is a Winding Road because she sings it with style and joins in on the guitar later in the song. (I love her guitar strap in the video... really cool and stylish). Great clips. Huge Fan Here! Pick ME!

I would love to hear some new Chris Cornell music. I have a newer version of "Can't Change Me" on my mp3 player right now.

With all due respect, her name is Sheryl, not Cheryl. I love all her performances - however Leaving Las Vegas, Steve McQueen and The First Cut is the Deepest are exceptional. You really need to correct the spelling - it's only respectful to her.

I love all of the performances! Though, my 2 favorite performances are Lenny Kravitz and Sheryl Crow! I also enjoyed watching the new Mariah Carey interview!

Hello! I have to agree with you. Thus far, Matchbox 20 is my favorite. A lot of those artists are new to me and I have to get more exposure to them before I can make a decision. I live in Illinois and Cheryl Crow is from Missouri. She is very talented!
Please enter me in your partly surprise drawing. I really appreciate
it! Thanks,Cindi

What a great giveaway! I love how Crowe is so upbeat and her music really gets me through tough days. As a grad student (with the requisite "starving student" budget), my music collection is certainly a luxury!

I'll graduate in May, and for sure her "every day is a winding road" song will be in my play list for the 12 hour trek back home!

Match Box Twenty's past performance! Match Box Twenty and I have around a while. I met or should I say use to hang out with him in Orlando,FL with me and my girls in a little unique bar in Winter Park town right outside of Orlando. His band was just starting plus that was when he look very odd with his hair plastered down, he use to come up to us and try to pick one of us up. I asked him once what do you do he said I have a band called Match Box Twenty and we all laughed at him asking what kind of name is that. Well we all know who is laughing now :) Simply love that group and Cheryl Crow is so talented too.
