I was a tiny bit confused by the cover of The Backyardigans : Mighty Match-Up as well it shows the Backyardigans playing basket ball in full classic greek attire. Hmm.. something just seems a bit odd about that eh?
Well possibly in the spirit of the Olympics, I mean um.. "sports day" the Backyardigans find themselves in Ancient Greece ready to play some basketball. The only issue is that it just wont stop raining! They have to convince the Goddess of weather, Tasha, to make it stop! Though I appreciate the fact that the Backyardigans are in Greece and that the DVD features the idea that the Greeks belived in Gods and Goddesses this was not my favorite episode on the DVD.
Our favorite is The Great Dolphin Race! Pablo has to help train a wild dophin with his new friend Uniqua to win the Atlantis dolphin races! It features the best songs from the disc, and ok, I admit it I just really love the fact that they are riding dolphins around like they are ponies! Connor got a kick out of it too.

My son loves the Backyardigans! I wasn't sure if you wanted to know the favorite character or show. So my favorite character is the penquin and my favorite show is the one with the little wormies that are in the house and they are trying to get rid of them while the inspector is in the house. Okay terrible explaination but if you have seen them then I hope you can figure out which show it is.
