Baby Gear Review : Downtime Baby

Oh.. My.. CONNOR IS NAPPING!!

This wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that we haven't taken a nap in two weeks without a virtual baby show down.

If Connor is anything like me he will have the worst time sleeping when its not completely dark which I'm starting to believe is the problem. This lead me to search for something that could help but would still be portable for those days we are on the go but we still need to take naps!

Downtime Baby offers moms an alternative to installing heavy drapes in every room of your house! The Downtime Baby Hat looks like a regular baby hat until you flip down the brim and down comes a baby sleep mask! Its a perfect solution for busy parents like myself that not always have the ideal nap situation and in our own case it helps the baby sleep longer and better, which if you have ever experienced my angelic child's 4pm cranky spouts after no naps you will understand why this is so important.

I was a bit skeptical if this would work for us honestly, Connor has rarely if ever worn hats (i hate to cover up that gorgeous hair of his, and he usually fights me anytime I even suggest he wear one. So I waited till he was eating and relaxed in his chair and slipped the hat behind his head, once he started to drift off I slowly pulled he hat down and worked it into place and over his eyes. Not only did he sleep really well we slept for 45 minutes (which is a record for him as we never have more than 20 minute naps.. EVER) without even as much as a peep. Now I only wish I had gotten a Downtime Baby Hat earlier!!!

The Downtime Baby Hat is also perfect for car trips, shopping, flights, and of course babies like Connor who have a hard time staying asleep once they drift off. I am going to make sure mine is in my diaper bag at all times now. I can't even wait to try it on the next trip down to his grandparents.

Want one?
Visit Downtime Baby and check out them out! The hats currently come in pink, blue, and natural and are available for babies from 0-18m.

Very cool! Do they make them in my size??? I LOVE it when it's so dark...it really helps me sleep better.

I would love to feature this on my blog!

Wow that is really cool. I could see how this would be a great tool to help with napping!

These are cute, I wish I had some a few years back when my kids were babies. :)
