Wow Wow Wubbzy! Pirate ahoy!

Wubbzy is a daily favorite around here. Wubbzy has this endless energy that seems to appeal to toddlers and preschoolers. The reason I love Wubbzy though is the fact that he has flaws, he messes up, but he always works it out with his friends. Kids mess up, hey even adults mess up more often than we'd like to admit, and as a kids I think its especially important to know that its ok and that no one is perfect.

Wubbzy's newest dvd is Wow Wow Wubbzy's Pirate Treasure. Ok people I'll admit to you right now that I'm a little partial to pirates. Possibly its all those years growing up and obsessing about renaissance fairs, yes you heard me I'm that sort of geek. Really it started much earlier than that as I would harass my grandfather for days to play pirates and help me make treasure maps and bury treasure. So when I heard Wubbzy had a pirate episode I was pretty excited. In the Wubbzy epsidoe, Pirate Treasure, Wubbzy and his pals head out in search of some pirates treasure.There are turtles to fight and treasure to be found. What Wubbzy and his friends don't know is there is something so much more valuable than treasure to be found.

There are some other great episodes on the disc as well as two bonus episodes including a never seen before episode called Save the Wuzzly. Wuzzly bears are living in the trees set to be cut down to build a new playground. So the question is how do you save the trees and have a playground too? It's up to Wubbzy to come up with an idea to save the Bear's trees.
