Valentines Day for the baby!

Kushies was one of my first loves when it comes to baby and toddler toys. Their Zolo line of toys are stunningly beautiful. I wrote a review about Connor's Zippy Ozlo wooden puppy pull toy and its always turned heads when we have visitors. Something about the use of colors and patterns is really striking and its as pretty sitting on Connor's bookshelf as it is being pulled around the living room at 90 miles an hour by a screaming toddler. We also did a review of the Kushies My Bag which goes with Connor on all his trips to his grandparents house and to visit his Aunt Jennifer. Don't even get me started on his Stacrobats which I'm not sure which of us loves more me or him!

So when I got a chance to test out the Kushies Zolo Fuzzi Lovebug and Fuzzi Hugbug I was estatic. When they both arrived I decided to let Connor choose which would be his and which would be the giveaway. Though personally I was a fan of the Lovebug with its fuzzy exterior and little ribbons but Connor homed in on the Hugbug quite possibly because my favorite color is purple and even though he is a boy I've found little ways to sneak purple into his life as well from his baby blanket my mother made which is blue, green, and lavender to his big purple chair which we sit on and read books every day. So honestly it was no big suprise with his apparent love of purple and to be strait both the Hugbug and Lovebug are equally fabulous so I'm glad he took the pressure off of me to choose.

Both the Hugbug and Lovebug follow with Kushies's apparent theme of decorating their toys with as many colors as possible and and unlike the wooden toys these cloth toys also have many textures to explore from the fuzzy loop of the Hugbug and the ribbons and fur of the lovebug. Along with diffrent textures each of them have unique features. Connor's Hugbug has chimes, squeakers, magnet hands which Connor has discovered can interact with the magnets in the Stacrobats. The Lovebug is more about textures ribbons of every color to expore, a fuzzy body to nuzzle you just can't keep your eyes off of it.

If your looking for a toy for a newborn or even a toddler the Kushies Hugbug and Lovebug would be a welcomed edition to any toy bin. Connor drags his all over the house and I know if I had it a year ago it would have been his favorite toy as an infant as well.
