I had totally forgot all about the Chipettes!

I honestly had totally forgot about the Chipettes when it came to the Alvin and the Chipmunks series until I saw the press release for the new Alvin and The Chipmunks : The Chipettes release and I have no idea why. Once I saw the cover art it all came back to me, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor. Brittany being their "leader" much like Alvin takes the head role in the male counterparts and the antics are very similar. I guess girls were jealous of all the chipmunks being boys so a girl version was created. Either way you know, it sort of works as I find myself relating to them more, you know I hate to say it but I find myself identifying with the geeky sister Jeanette.

The Chipettes live along with the other chipmunks and Brittany with a personality much like Alvins tends to butt heads with him often. My favorite episode on the Chippettes dvd is one where the Chipettes are working at the hospital as candystripers. Do candystripers even exist these days? heh. Anyways somehow Brittany ends up loosing her patient and Theodore pretends to be the patient so Brittany doesn't get in trouble the only problem is the doctors buy it and try to take him to surgery!
