Oh duffel bag oh duffel bag!

It's the holiday season, and usually that would mean me flying down to see the parents always concerned about bringing enough luggage. Not so much to get my things THERE but its getting the presents back. Now that I am within driving distance its not nearly as much of an issue as worst cast scenario we can just pile some stuff in my closet at my parents house and pick it up next trip. However having fabulous luggage especially when there are babies and baby stuff involved is the key to any trip.

I've always been a huge fan of the duffel bag especially now that there are kids, I mean kid, in the picture. The reason for that is quite simply the fact that if your not using the space it squishes down and when it comes to packing a car with endless amounts of random kid stuff, squishablity is really an important feature I've found. That is unless you drive a cargo van, unlike the tiny little toy of a car that I call my SUV, heh yeh right. The only problem with duffel bags is the fact that if your running through the airport with a baby in one arm and a dog on the other arm that leaves no arms for a duffel bag so I've always resorted to using rolling luggage. I'm sure your now wondering what I'm getting at, lets just say when I saw the new duffle bags over at Lands End it was love at first sight.

The Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag is not like any duffel bag you have used before. Part duffel bag, part super portable wheelable luggage this duffel is as comfortable going to the gym as it is running full blast through a crowded airport ten minutes late for your flight. I'm sure you guys don't make a habit of arriving late for flights but believe me the day you do if you have this bag you will be thanking me the whole way. The best part about the Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag is the fact that when your not using it it folds totally flat which means you can store it virtually anywhere including under the bed which is not usually the place you store full sized wheeled luggage. Not to mention those Christmas trips to grandmas are even better as you can pack a smaller sized Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag in your regular luggage and when you get all those presents from Grandma, *cough* I mean Santa. You can just pull out your Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag and fill it up! No more packing everything into cardboard boxes and mailing it to yourself or last second trips to the store to buy extra luggage. I once ended up with fifteen small duffel bags in one year just from doing that very thing.

The Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag comes in five colors to match the classic Lighthouse Wheeled Luggage that some of you may already own. Including a pink which would be perfect for frequent travelers as how often do you see pink luggage on the bag carousel? For the guys in your life don't worry there is a blue, black, red and green as well.

Lands End has been fabulous enough to offer a Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel Bag as a giveaway to one lucky reader!
