Once every few years?

It's November which means its officially winter back home in Illinois. With winter comes ice and of course snow. It seems odd to me now that by now there is usually snow on the ground back home and I am still wearing short sleeves and flip flops this time of year in Alabama. In some ways I guess it makes me a bit sad that Connor will not grow up with something that was so much apart of his dad's childhood but I'll be honest I will not miss shoveling snow one bit. It does snow here in Alabama on a rare occasion, usually only every few years and no more than an inch or two just enough to see the snow but not quite enough to play.

If we can't play with it we can at least watch cartoons to get us in the mood for winter. Snow Days is Hit Entertainment's new show collection that features some of our favorite animated friends including Barney, Bob, Thomas, Pingu, Fireman Sam, and even Angelina gets in on the fun. All in all its six episodes dedicated to that cold white stuff and a bonus episode featuring Fifi and the Flowertots!

Our favorite engine Thomas is having a bit of a problem in the episode the Thomas's Tricky Tree. Thomas is supposed to deliver a very special Christmas tree the only problem is he can't seem to find it and the other engines make fun of him for not knowing what a Christmas tree looks like. All the while Sir Thomas has been pulling a load around and Thomas is just too busy to even take notice of him. Turns out that the one engine Thomas is ignoring is just the engine he should be paying attention to as Sir Thomas has the tree he is looking for! It just shows everyone makes mistakes even Thomas.
