So stinking adorable for Halloween!

The Calico Critters Collection at International Playthings caught my eye the first time I saw them... My cousin had the most amazing dollhouse when we were growing up that my uncle built for her and I always dreamed of having one just like it but I was too scared to ask him to make me one. Mind you the thing was huge and it took up half her room but it was detailed down to the light fixtures which all turned on separately on a control switch on the base of the house. I still think it has to be the coolest thing ever but the problem is I've never been a miniature doll girl.

With that said if I would have seen the Calico Critters back when I was a little girl I would have lost my mind. Strike that statement, I'm loosing my mind just browsing through all the play sets available. The Calico Critters are not your standard dollhouse scale dolls, they are a whole world of little fuzzy animals complete with outfits, furniture, their own dollhouses, and even little baby Calico Critters that will make you loose your mind with the cuteness! The best part is each of the characters and play sets come with their own unique accessories from little glasses, hats, outfits, or even sometimes decorating items for your house depending on the play set.

Speaking of decorating the Holiday Play sets will help your Calico Critters celebrate the holidays! The new Halloween Play set includes two Calico Critters, their costumes, and tons of accessories to decorate your own Calico Critters house for Halloween including candy, a pumpkin and some banners to decorate the house! The baby chipmunk in his little ghost outfit is sooo cute and the white rabbit is pretty unique as she has the stars painted on her cheek which will still be there after you take her out of her witches outfit. I just have to note if you have small children there are very small parts in the Calico Critters play sets make sure you keep them out of the way of children under three!
